End of the day, i don't imagine you get many causal armchair fans on a whim decide to go to a fight, it is your people like us who follow boxing day in day out. So froch being a relative unknown to the general public at large doesn't have a massive effect on gates at arena's. that is what affects ppv sales

Anybody see anything that was said that they themselve didn't think at the time ??? (froch's comments are far less criticle than some of the other pundits on the vid)

Same here, and I've always defended the kid.

But if his mouth keeps running the way it is I may stick him in the 'Mayweather' catagory, ie I'll watch him, appreciate what he does but would love to see him taken down a peg.

 

It wasnt really these comments that got Khan pissed, Froch for a long time was throwing little barbs at Khan, specifically after the Kotelnik fight, where he basically said Khan wasnt value for money, and along with the rather poor ppv numbers, together with the comments really riled Khan, especially since they'd met face to face previously and Froch was full of compliments.

 

Yeah but those comments weren't exactly way off was they ? He specifically said that he hadn't watched it but his mates had told him it was pretty boring which to be honest (unless you're one of those kind of people that find it nailbiting knowing Khan could go at any moment) they (his friends) were 100% correct. It was a crap fight in all honesty
