After Fury, Joshua and Wilder get done throttling each other silly, and a clear cut winner emerges victorious, then what?

After all, no one will suffice any of the fanboys at this point. There's always an argument to the contrary as to why said opponent is ****, and isn't worthy of a shot at the title. Even guys who are in the Top 10 in some cases.

Jarrell Miller, Luis Ortiz, Hughie Fury, Joseph Parker, Dillian Whyte, Kubrat Pulev, Alexander Povetkin, Joe Joyce, Oscar Rivas, Adam Kownacki, Dominic Breazeale, Michael Hunter are all seen as either too old, bums, shot, overrated, too green or an easy win for the big 3, by the detractors. So what's the point in facing any of them? After all, its not like beating one of these guys does anything for their legacies right? Note: This IS NOT my personal opinion on the matter. I think they're all fine/okay opponents for the most part.

Then there's the new guys on the horizon, that are equally unproven at the top level, that still show a lot of promise, like Ajagba, Hrgovic, Romanov, Dubois, Gorman, Yoka, Dychko, Sireno, Teslenko etc. Will you get all worked up over the big 3 fighting any of them? Or will they be thrown off on as well? Will they be cast into the outer darkness once they've been smashed to bits? Most likely. But regardless, who poses a threat, that's enough to get yourself all worked up into a lather over?

Sure.... there is USYK. But what if he's a flop and doesn't even make it to one of the biggies? While I have a hard time seeing that he doesn't, for the sake of argument, what if in fact does not, or at the very least, looks ill-equipped or underwhelming at Heavyweight?.

All the prattling on about, Fury, Wilder and AJ need to fight each other now, well when they finally do..... and one man emerges the victor, then what? Will you be hopeful? Will you feel despair? Will nothing be able to live up to larger than life expectations you ll set for these three oafs?

After its all over. Who Necks? And will you care?

Has there ever been a point in time (sans maybe the 70s, I'm too young to remember) that there wasn't some criticism concerning who a HW champion fought? I don't think that will ever end. No matter who comes out on top, the very next opponent they fight is gonna be considered a "cherry pick" or they'll be considered as taking the "easy route".

Times arrow marches on. After someone comes out on top (if anyone comes out on top) new dangerous contenders will arise, and new legacy defining fights will be there. You have Usyk potentially developing into a major contender and a slew of undefeated contenders developing, anyone of which could be the next big name.
