What shocked me more than anything is just how bad at throwing punches McGregor was. Like it was genuinely awful. I watched it with my flatmate who doesn't watch any combat sports and even she was like "WHAT THE **** IS THIS DUDE DOING"

Floyd chilled for a few rounds and then basically went into second gear. Ever seen someone spar a newbie? That was the first 3 rounds. Stay just out of range and let them work whilst throwing the odd shot in response.

Yep, boxings definitely can't handle themselves in the octagon

So is Conor going to release some edited footage of him brushing the side of Mayweather's goatee with an uppercut? Then claiming he whooped Floyd's ass. Or perhaps release another photo of his arms behind his back when he was completely out of range?

Think we have a good idea now who is telling the truth.

Gotta give Conner some credit, it's the definition of the perfect con, when your marks don't even know they've been conned.

Mayweather even came in wearing a ski mask!

So looking awful for half the fight is a valid "gameplan" against a total noob? I'll remember that one the next time my favourite fighter gets his ass kicked

Hey, y'all, don't bash Eric Crumble, it was his gameplan to get beaten up ... the ref stopped the fight too soon ...

What shocked me was that Conor was thumping Floyd with nothing more than awful technique and pressure. It was embarrassing to see a purported ATG getting schooled by a noob. 10 rounds to get him outta there! TEN!

They would be dangerous but they wouldn't be favorites, one take down and its fish out of water

Mercer slightly above average? You must have pro calibre fighters on every street in your neighbourhood.
50-50 would mean you don't have a point statistically speaking as I stated.

You post better than this from recollection - when you got Syph liking your MMA posts know your in the twilight zone.

Stunned by the paycheck he managed to take from gullible fans.

Funny watching Garcia and Broner talk about that paycheque going into the hands of a debutant.

Wouldn't that make him the robber? Or is he ashamed? Maybe both to have such a bout and have Marciano raised.

Apparently tennis players have challenged squash players to enter Wimeldon and prove they are not pussies. This years Moto GP will challenge the Tour De France winner to step up and prove he isn't a *****.

Except Floyd didn't get beaten up, didn't look awful and didn't get his ass kicked whatsoever. Bleh.

Can't tell if you're trolling or not, but I'll bite.

Thought it was quite evident Floyd carried him first 3 rounds or so. Him beaming at the camera in between (I think) rounds 2-3 in the corner told me that. And the lack of sweat on him at the end confirmed he was cruising too.

You have to take into account "it only takes one straight left!"

Listen to the excuses. ''but...but...but ... butterbean took it seriously'' ''they were guys with negative records''

All TTIA fans ever say is that a boxer would instantly get destroyed in the octagon by ANY mma fighter.

We know it's a load of garbage perpetrated by morons.

Any professional boxer can go to that 2nd class sport, train up, learn how to defend against kicks, take downs etc and become proficient. You will then see them become capable of more than holding their own against the jaw glassed brutes.

However boxers rarely have any reason to go inside that cage and get paid peanuts to fight like a chimp on the floor.
