He is trolling the silly ones.

A fair description of the fight - doesn't do Mayweather much credit though, less so for the 50.

Call me a cynic but we had a lack of real challlenge in Berto and now Connor, perhaps a real challenge for 51 he can fight Rousey at MMA rules, or maybe the Big Show in WWE, another circus bout. Now I think about it maybe we should count the WWE match on his record.

Oh for sure, don't get me wrong I thought Floyd looked pretty dreadful to be honest.

I'm not shocked though given he didn't spar properly because of his hands etc. I hope COnor just stays away from the sport or at least stops chasing retired fighters half his ****ing size.

There were MMA fanboys everywhere, including Joe Rogan, who were saying that Ronda Rousey could beat most male boxing Welterweights. That was until she got knocked out (twice), then they all mysteriously went silent.

This is the mentality we are dealing with when it comes to MMA fans, I shudder to think what the average IQ is with this lot.

Maan it's way too early to write sparring off. I'm 31 and still spar hard usually once a week. You have to get used to the facebar, some are also more bulky than others, maybe experiment with a couple of models.

In terms of sparring mentality I find it helps a lot if you can start frustrating a guy by neutralizing his offense even when he's coming after you like crazy. That way you don't fight fire with fire and it tends to calm down the sparring session to the level you want. It's difficult to resist the temptation of just firing back but it's something that definitely defuses the situation.

If all that fails, just change sparring partners or gyms until you find people that enjoy more technical but also hard sparring. Sometimes it can be a lot of effort to get a nice consistent recreational sparring going with someone who has roughly the same dimensions, skill level and mindset than you but I still feel it's worth it in the end.

Be fair, it wasn't just MMA fans - it was everywhere. Journalist's fawning over Rousey, jeez they were even talking about remaking Roadhouse with her in it, farkin' disgusting.

Let me explain a simple concept which you clearly cant grasp..
Boxing is apart of mma any specialists who takes the time to learn other martial arts is no longer a pure boxer.

The example would be similar to a D1 wrestler learning bjj, and kickboxing, they have taken the time to learn other facets, so they are no longer just wreslters.

A pure boxer isn't stepping into a octagon and being the favorite

Obviously, Floyd just likes getting punched in the face. He LET Conor do all that.

    Love Floyd's elite "turtleshell defence".

There was a fat guy in primary school that did that when the bullies hit him.

He's bringing back them lost skills!

    Agree.

It's pretty cool, given all the trash talk, when two guys manage to leave it in the ring.

Jesus, how many times do you have to be told that what you saw pre-fight was an act, they were selling the fight, it wasn't real.

I despair at you sometimes, I really do, no wonder the public get conned so easily with brains like yours.

lol this notion that Floyd ''carried'' Sugar Mac is nothing but pure damage control from his groupies. Floyd isn't fit to carry Sugar Mac's spit bucket, let alone actually carry him for 10 rounds lol.

Truth be told, Sugar Mac was just way too slick for him in the early going and we know Floyd cannot deal with slickness. If Sugar Mac didn't have such atrocious stamina it would've been a total shut out, if didn't get him out of there that is. And let's not forget that a totally spent Sugar Mac whose gas tanks had been running on empty for at least 5 rounds nearly got him out in the 9th with that body shot.

Another thing is that people were ragging on Kovalev for momentarily turning his back on Ward during their fight. Floyd goes full-on Turtleshell and thass all cool ...
