Yep and apparently that body shot in the 9th that doubled Floyd over and had him in desperate trouble was ''low''
The truth is that Conor made Floyd look like a rank amateur until he began to tire. Mcgregor utilized his natural gifts such as speed and fluidity to neutralize and punish the "pfp greatest boxer to ever live"lol. The break that Mayweather received in round 9 is a story in itself. Was that the best that boxing has to offer??
Keep making excuses and changing the goal posts, it doesn't matter in the end. In a few weeks when all this has died down and been forgotten about, TTIA will return back into the shadows of irrelevancy where it belongs. Before this fight was announced, no one gave one iota about discussing anything surrounding TTIA in the general. Enjoy it....savour every moment while it lasts, since you will have nothing more to discuss after.
I think the knowledgeable boxing fan thought McGregor did a little better than expected. Yes I know Floyd always takes his look first and Floyd executed his/ FM sr's game plan and strategy perfectly. I've only seen it once but when Connor landed that body shot, it hurt FM. Was curious if it was a liver shot? Anyone else get a better look? With that being said, the boxing fan possibly thinking McGregor might have done a little better than expected is still knowing that Connor would perform significantly worse than the non-knowledgable fan expected. And definitely no disrespect to Connor, it's just simply a completely different sport.
I think that the shot that really hurt May's ego was that Connor's uppercut right through his vaunted guard. Looked as if May was about to cry while sitting on his stool after that round. BTW Connors will never enjoy the same believability after talking all that trash and failing to deliver as he had vehemently promised. Can you imagine him rooster-strutting around blustering again? Hard to imagine people not bursting out laughing in his face.
I mean Mayweather just walked them down without holding and boxing them and fighting of the backfoot.... I think the only fighter where he felt comfortable to walk to was connor? anyone else?
You would have thought that prior to this getting choked out and beaten to a pulp. No he's a marketing machine. When the dust settles he'll fire that machine back up again
