How do you know how intense his sparring was against Paulie? For the most part the Mayweather - McGregor farce looked like a sparring as well. It was slow paced, McGregor didn't throw big punches, Mayweather barely threw punches in the first 3 rounds. Yet McGregor gassed quickly. Now you can say that it was his first boxing fight, so he didn't know how to pace himself effectively for 12 rounds and that argument may have some merit. But FFS he even has awful stamina in MMA fights where he often gassed after 8 minutes. So how do you assume that his stamina would be OK if he was a professional boxer? Every current evidence points to the contrary. For sure it can be better than what he showed in the Mayweather fight, but that isn't saying much. At all. And you forgot to explain why Masvidal and McGregor have better boxing talent than Garbrandt.

Yes it was on youtube if you can find it, he also said Floyd would be the fighter he would most love to fight in history but said he could never beat anyone with Floyd`s style.
He fought on the front foot against Mosley but I watched a film study whee they said this the way he always fights southpaws just not as aggressive, he did this against Judah and again the body shots got the job done by tiring Zab, he fought this way against Robert G. also but not with gay abandon he was still savvy with punches coming his way though he just looked casual and didn`t fear Connor`s power.
And I don't even want to hear it was low! Tony Weeks introduced us to the NEW low blow rules. Those kind of shots are good to go.
I'd like you guys to take in my post from the Mayweather vs MacGregor discussion forum page 424"As the fight draws nearer I figured I'd chime in with my prediction. Personally very excited for the event and interested to see how it plays out. I'm not only picking Floyd to win but rooting for him all the way. I don't want MMA fans to have any annunciation to go on with this boxing is dead and cage fighting is the better sport crap. I do give MacGregor a shot though based on the fact that he is a young in his prime competitor who will bring an awkward style to the table and has absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain. I think Floyd's wear and tear from a long career of boxing could give the younger, bigger athlete an advantage. Regardless my most likely scenario is that it'll take Floyd a few rounds to figure him out before he starts to take over, I believe as the fight goes on the advantage will continue to grow and by the 10th round Floyd will break him down and finish him. This is what I believe will most likely transpire on fight day and I hope it does." If you ever want to know whats going to happen before fight day just make sure to ask me a week in advance
