fight was fixed Floyd tried to place a bet that he will ko conor by the 10 but they would not accept the bet he ended up ko conor anyway in the 10
lol Nate regularly beats up the supposed ''P4P'' king Andre Ward in sparring, Nate can only hang with Sugar Mac when Mac's gas tanks are bone dry. And yes, Sugar Mac whoops Nick too. Easy work. Trust me the experience he's garnered fighting Floyd has taken him to a whole other level. This is just the beginning of his journey on the path to greatness.
I was completely suprised while watching floyd fighting vs connor. He made a freaking ton of mistakes. A LOT. And I wondered why. You can tell me that it was because he's getting old. But, for instance, you dont walk in a straight line when you chase just because you are getting old. It has nothing to do with age. I came to 2 conclussions: 1) floyd was laughing at the "general public" (let's not say casuals). He thinks that people are just complete idiots, and that they know nothing. So he was kind of laughing at people thinking "hey! you, that's what you like, isnt it? hahaha". I imagine him laughing and thinking "yes, now you liked the fight, isnt it? you are all idiots". Kind of a mock. Kind of "i gave you gold vs pacman and you didnt like it, now, take this **** you will love it dumbasses" 2) floyd was disrespecting connor. He just wanted to make clear that you dont need to be good to beat the hell out of him. What do you think? why floyd made such amount of mistakes, a lot of them newby's mistakes? EDIT: I never liked oscar. But I have to agree with him when he said that the fight was one of the most unskilled fights in las vegas in a long time. There was no skill at all in that ring that night. And this lack of skill was intended. why?
it was low (not quite andre ward low) but i don't think the ref saw it. anyway, McGregor is such a goof. i've never boxed but i could train an orangutan to look more like a boxer in the ring than he did. that pitter pat on the head is comically inept, near paying public level for that farce inept.
I like how Conor keeps his chin in the air. Even amateur 8-9 y.o. kids know you should keep your chin low
are you referring to his approach in rounds 6-9 when we basically giving chase to Mcgregor and following him around the ring? First of all, this was a complete one-off for Floyd. He's never fought in that style before. The closest was his approach in the Judah fight. Second, he was actually doing some things I hadn't seen before. He was shifting, i.e. throwing a right followed by a left in succession while in pursuit. He was basically keeping he pressure on, moving straight ahead and throwing lefts and rights. It was working pretty well from rounds 6-10. Floyd is not some sort of master stalker, but he arrived at a strategy that worked and allowed him to fulfill his promise to stop Conor.
