It's simply all stems down to psychological hate mixed in with a heavy dose of racism. You have to just imagine how big the celebrations would be if Conor won compared how it has been since Floyd won. Or imagine if Conor even had anything close to Mayweather's record on paper. The man only has 21 fights and lost 3 times and never defended a title, and he is considered an ATG. Had Conor done what he had promised his legion of fans he would do and won that fight, these people would be gloating non stop, would have street parades, it would be headline news, with non stop interviews with Conor on every kind of celebrity talk show, all praising him as if he had just saved the world from a nuclear attack. No excuses would be heard or entertained
Went as expected but i think mcgregor did better than i expected him to do. He also showed he has terrible stamina, i mean gassed after 3 rounds LOL. This was his first boxing fight, he cant kick to set up punches and he cant move like he does in the cage. His power with larger gloves is useless but good with the smaller mitts. Different sports. I dont think boxers are all better athletes, there are lots of guys in mma with better stamina than mcgregor, u have to master lots of skills to be good at mma, its a real tough sport, as in boxing but in a different way. Wrestling itself is a great difficult sport on its own, add striking, kicks, takedowns, submissions etc, its a big sport btw mcgregor gassed badly again diaz both fights, if he cant get u out of there in round 1 or 2 hes in trouble. But luckily for him he can punch with smaller gloves. both of these guys are laughing all the way to the bank, its a pity mcgregor didnt have the power/stamina/boxing technique to trouble floyd, its just his power was less than expected, a lot less in boxing gloves Floyd is the best of his generation but the only things that annoy me about him are his refusal to fight pac when he was at his best, that would have been a great fight and him retiring after hatton with 147 being one of the best divisions in boxing and he hadnt fought any of the top 5 in it!!!! btw that was mosley, cotto, williams, margarito in it all huge fights then, he really ducked out of that one badly
You continue to ignore the relevant facts : Fact 1- I enjoy and appreciate boxing Fact 2- A 21-3 record & a two division champion in mma is the apex of achievement in sports Fact 3- Learning boxing, karate, kickboxing, judo ,wrestling, jujutsu ,and sambo is obviously much more difficult than just learning boxing Fact 4- Floyd would be annihilated in the octagon Fact 5- MMA > boxing
Didn't read that. I assume that you are asking for more great fights. So here is Shogun / Nogueira: This content is protected
More nonsense. Are you trolling or are you genuinely this obtuse and ignorant in reality? Let us do some basic math, 50 is a greater number than 21 and 3 is a greater number than 0. So in simple terms 50-0 is greater than 21-3. ''Fact 2'' - 21- 3 isn't even the greatest record in MMA let alone in sport and that isn't even considering the poor level of opposition and the gigantic weight + height advantage over those poor level of opponents. So again you don't understand the meaning of the word fact. Aldo and Jones have better records. So again you fail. ''Fact 3'' - Subjective opinion not fact. If it is more difficult than why are they choosing mma after failing to make it in boxing? Why, if it is harder are they willing to forego boxing that pays a significantly higher salary over mma? Are they lacking in brain cells or is it the fact that it is far easier to be a success in mma than in boxing, evidenced by the fact that a man with such a poor record and resume is now the face of the sport? ''Fact 4'' - That is an opinion not a fact, learn the difference ''Fact '5''' - Factually incorrect as I previously pointed out, ppvs, entertainment, number of stars, salary, sponsors, audience numbers are all in favor of boxing. If you believe that not to be the case, I challenge you to provide the evidence (not statements) to back up your deluded view. You better stop wasting my time posting drivel if you are not going to be serious and post some substantial points that I don't have to destroy brain cells reading through all this elementary and unfounded dog mess.
Well duh!?? If Conor had won the fight he would have accomplished the impossible, whereas Floyd just had a more difficult than expected outing. Of course the public and media reaction would have been different. There is something very wrong in the way you are approaching this topic.
Exactly. This is a BOXING forum, dedicated to the sweet science, not that boring roll around on the ground garbage. These UFC fanboys only come here because deep down, they know that boxing is better - a more exciting, action-filled sport that UFC/MMA can never hope to match. Personally I wish they'd all GTFO this site and go back to Sherdog and stop infecting our fine sport with their mentally limited bestial understanding of what man-to-man combat is at its finest.
I didn't really read that but I assume that you are craving more great MMA action. So here is Griffin v Bonnar, a true classic: This content is protected
Like I revealed before, Socrates once declard ''Once the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser'' You have no skills at debating, not at all. Not one of the mma fanboys possess any. They only know how to communicate through either violence, insults or through just making up outright paper thin lies while attempting to pass them off as fact,s in a desperate effort to win a losing battle. I'm afraid this isn't the place for you if you don't expect to be challenged on your misguided views. Stormfront or Sharedogs is a better place suited for your kind of bestial mind set.
Socrates loved wrestlers! Here are some in action: This content is protected ^ Georges St Pierre and Josh Koscheck, two great wrestling talents.
Anyone can see that your position in this "debate" is lacking in substance. Every time you have tried to refute my claims you have ended up looking desperate. To continue feeding your troubled state of mind would be unethical. I think you need to reassess what's important in life and calm down. Everything is going to be ok.
He was just distracted by all the great MMA vids that have been posted. Hard to collect your thoughts when you are being exposed to a new paradigm It's like when you first start to listen to heavy metal
