    Meh, I think Broner at 140 would be preferable to him at 147 so I see no problem with this.

    It'll be a wise move as well, the bigger Thurman would have too much for Broner imo.

    Sounds about right. Broner's just moving up to get his name out there. I highly doubt anybody around him really wants him at a full 147.

    he's just fortunate Paulie isn't a puncher..

    i got Lopez winning, but think Maidana would make a better fight for Thurman :good

    It's possible. But it makes you wonder why they'd move him up to win a title if he's just gonna' move back down. I think he'll stay there and wait for those 140 guys to move up.

    what if broner annihilates paulie and looks comfortable at 147? should he stay? or should he take it back down to 140 because there's much better competition in that division?

    Don't see the point in going up to 147b if you're going to just collect paper belt then vacate it or defend it vs nobodies.Probably wants leverage when 140lb guys come up, just don't see him going down in weight.Maidana/Thurman are good match ups but that's not likely happening anytime soon.
