I was willing to chalk up Nottingham as a bad night at the office and thought Bute would have a chance to out box Froch in a rematch. I think it is clear now that Froch will walk through his punches and put him on his back again.
There was no rubbery tonight. However, if it was Froch or Kessler in front of Bute instead of Grachev tonight, then the fight would have been over by the 5th round. Hard to judge Bute after this fight. Can he build-up on the 12th round or has he become the conservative, no combination fighter we saw during the first 5-6 rounds? Bute had tons of opportunity to let his hands go throughout the fight but kept on throwing single punch while freezing a second to admire his work. This would be deadly against Froch. On a brighter note, Larouche after the fight was really down to earth about the performance so there will be no sugar coating it. As much as would like to see Bute win a rematch against Froch, this last fight didn't convince me at all.
Are you being serious?? When Froch had Bute against the ropes he bashed the living SH1T out of him...How did he learn anything except defend against a guy with very little experience. No matter where the next fight is with Froch, Froch wins
Judging by the threads he makes, and the affinity for discussing male on male sex, my guess is smoking means giving Froch a blowie. Seems to be haworth's line of thought.
I'm the one out of the 2 of us who's comfortable with my own sexuality- don't forget that Lance you dirty little horrible wretch of a man
