after Canelo beats Mayweather, who would you like to see him fight?

Even if he somehow manages to beat Floyd (which I can't see happening), I can tell you with absolute certainty that Ward would beat the living **** out of Canelo.

I love this kind of silly thread. Although it is totally troll bait, the mere idea that Canelo can survive in his weight class without Oscar holding his hand and picking his fights is funny as hell. Hell, I just want to see him fight legit competition in his own weight class, or god forbid, he picks on people his own size...

I think he'll lose to Floyd, but regardless of what happens, he has to give Trout a rematch(without open scoring). Mayweather should fight Lara next.

 

If he beats Floyd and there is no rematch, than I would say Alvarez should look to fight: Lara, Angulo if he wins a comeback fight, or even Cotto if he looks good against Delvin.

 

yes you are right he beat one guy his size,in a close fight with judges that favored him,with open scores so he knew he could not lose.

Agreed, Canelo will go the way of ortiz, guerrero and all the other mexi-clowns. We all know the top young fighters are the cubans. there are just 4 good interesting matches floyd could make. the jackal, the hurricane, lara, and pacman. Unless floyd is going to fight ward or martinez, not much more guys for him to beat than those 4.

 

In all seriousness he will lose to Floyd and most likely fight Cotto is he can get by Rodriguez.
