after cotto beat shane alot of ppl around here said he was shot so is he still shot?

    im not a cotto fan so lets get that **** out of the way now but shane is far from shot in my opinion ever right hand had knockout power in it and even up until the final rd he didn't look old or winded and if u think this is the first time margo cheated your crazy cotto was the fight to elevate him to the best WW so that was his biggest fight I think he was more likely to use it in the cotto fight than the shane fight I mean its not like his corner said hey lets try this new **** on shane

    theres alot to investigate now cause cotto was outclassing margo then punches that he was absorbing was just started catching up to him so i believe he did the same thing although i thought cotto had a good game plan vs margo exept giving margo to much room to punch where as mosley didnt and would clinched inside where margo couldn't do anything

    He was shot when he lost to Forrest then he was back in his prime when he beat DLH then he was shot again when he lost to Wright, but primed when he beat Vargas, shot when he lost to Cotto and now prime when he beat Margo.

    I agree plus I think beating cotto is a lot harder than beating margo margo was walking straight into shanes hayemakers cotto can box and slug so it was a much more difficult fight but he wasn't shot

    Shane has never been shot. However, he is past his best.

    Put me in the crowd of where I've thought he looked way past prime since the Wright fights.. he looked pretty shitty against Estrada and Cruz, and only slightly better against Collazo.. the Vargas fights I chalked up to it being a well past prime Vargas.

    Tonight though, he erased those fights in my mind. He's still past prime.. overall.. but he looked prime last night.
