I can't imagine the fact that some pac fans over here at esb are drooling over the possibility of a pac-hatton fight. I mean, c'mon guys: pac ain't even tested at lw! Even when you say he's totally bloated out to a 140 something come fight night(147 at jmm-pac rematch); it just doe'snt make sense that all of you would agree of pac getting hatton. Hatton is a top calibre at ww, pac is a former minimumweight, the lowest division: lower than a lightfly or fly. Add to the fact that hatton is a great body puncher, can you imagine ricky hiiting pac the same punch that made jlc bow down to a praying postion???
I hate the pac team now, they seem to neglect reality. Don't they realize that people around esb, especially the haters, are all assuming that the pac team is only interested at the cash out they're gonna get at a hatton-pac match!
Why not micheal katsidis, sta.cruz, casamayor, juan diaz, jmm3, nate or guz?
I especially like the possibility of pac facing the winner of nate-guz. I'm not afraid of guz as a pacfan. Guz is just waaay over-rated here at esb! (Calling on his disciple amsty!) Neither am i afraid of nate. Peden ko'd his ass, and it took a pinoy journey man in ganoy to retire peden! Pac defeated peden's conqueror at mab too! Or possibly a jmm-pac3 rematch, to shut up some pac critics that pac is afraid of a 3rd fight with jmm! I can even bet my v-cash that pac this time will ko jmm's ass for good! I wonder what excuse would some of his nuthugging fans would come out if jmm gets ko'ed by pac on the 3rd? Hmmmm..:think
But a messege to some pac fans here at esb, why are you all too ecstatic of a pac-hatton fight? Aren't you thinking about pac losing and ending his legacy right there and there???
Anyways to cut this story short: who do you really want pac to face next? Weather you're a pacfan or not? And my second question is: do you think the possibility of pac-hatton after david d. is way damn ridiculous?

if he wins against diaz, i want him to unify either against casa or campbell or any lightweight champ by the end of this year.

it really depends on his performance against diaz. but still 140 is not 135 and it would still be questionable if pac can fight competitively against someone as big as hatton.

Funny you have the same doubt in my mind."if he wins against diaz, i want him to unify either against casa or campbell or any lightweight champ by the end of this year." And:
    This content is protected

As for that, assuming pac wins, pac would have the chance to be the first from the 44 world titlist the phil has currently and in the past: to unify world titles. The same chance that gerry, nonito, nietes (btw, i haven't heard from that guy since his world title accomplishment) and condes have right now.
I hope all of them would get theire chances to unify.
Btw, the next world champ we might have is banal. He has fight this coming july for the vacant wba title. GOOd luck to him.:happy
And thnx for the post puga very much appreciated it..

Even against a faded Hatton, Pac would get knocked out.

There is no guarentee that his style will lend itself well against naturally bigger men, he hasnt fought world class lightweights before so we cant judge too accurately. Im guessing hell get oast Diaz, but Casamayor, Guzman and Campbell are a different kettle of fish. Marquez would also beat him again in the rematch.

yep. this is a good opportunity for banal. he could win a title but not forcing him with the lions of 115.

    no problem bro. :good

I think he should face the winner of Casamayor-Diaz or the winner of the possible Campbell-Guzman or Campbell-Marquez.

I think he beats Casamayor and Campbell but Guzman beats him clearly. Time for Guzman to show that he is truly p4p top5.

Wouldnt mind seeing another fight against JMM, either at 130 or 135. Pac shouldnt fight Hatton, or rather, Hatton shoulnt be looking to fight Pac. Perhaps Guzman...

hey mad tak i do not want pac to face hatton yet. he should prove that he can unify the lw division by either beating juan diaz, casa, campbell, marquez, or even guzman (at least 3 of these fighters).. then hes destined towards greatness.. he can cash in by fighting hatton before retiring

I've expressed this many times.. After Diaz, I would like for Pacquiao to fight in the lightweight division before moving up to fight Hatton.. I would love to see him fight Campbell, Casamayor, Katsidis, & Guzman all before Hatton.. I still want to see how he fares in the lightweight division and to unify all the titles to furthur improve his legacy.. Fighting Hatton is a real big risk, but if he was to win, then he rewards would be simply awesome.. People are all excited about the thought of a Pac vs Hatton fight seeing as how both are two of the biggest athletes in boxing and both are brawlers and a lot of Pac fan's want to see him basically cement his legacy by defeating Hatton at another weight class and winning another title.. I too would love to see this, but not until after he takes a few fights in the lightweight division and unify..

I think you're talking about me. I want the Hatton fight now coz I really believe Pac will beat him easily. I already Predicted long long time ago that this fight will Happen because Pac is getting bigger and bigger, both in Popularity and also Physically.

Fo legacy, Pac was already there with the Greats. Beating these Present No HOFamers lightweights will not enhance it more. But Beating a much bigger Hatton will rank Pac with the SRR and Henry Armstrong at the top of the ATG list.

Get the new Ring Magazine. Pac was there featured showing his House and his daily activities. He also mentioned he's serious about the hatton and DLH fights. Is also featured the Best of Times article, which picked the Pac-JMM-MAB-EM-Hamed era as the Best era in history of Featherweights. When you Topped the Greatest ERA of FW, you belong among The top in the ATGs list. That's where Pac is now. But there's more to come.

i think pacfans like pacD are just excited to see pac against also exciting names. Thats it, for me i'm realistic unlike pacD and we need proofs that he could handle the higher weights.

Ricky hatton is rank as the best at LWW, i believe and i'm not delusional that it is such a big step up for pac if it ever happens.

After the diaz fight we couldn't still assess as diaz is just a solid B fighter, a paper champ. If it were juan diaz we could properly assess but it is david. It depends too on how well pac does against diaz.

hatton is rank as the best JWW. If some pacfans think pac would win against hatton, then i believe its also like saying he wins against the rest at 140.
