I say the winner of Chad Dawson and Glen Johnson's fight should fight Bernard Hopkins.

The loser of the fight, takes on Roy Jones Jr. Then the winner of both fights fight each other.

I'd see it going down like this:

    Dawson defeats Johnson via UD

    Hopkins defeats Dawson via SD
    Jones defeats Johnson via UD

    Jones defeats Hopkins by SP

both Jones, Hopkins, and Johnson retire..... Then Dawson takes over the division and must fight

Tavorius Cloud, Jean Pascal, and all those cats

little mini-tourney you got planned out, I like it. just don't know how it would go over. BHop says he's already signed on the winner of Dawson/Johnson, but Roys been talkin about going to cruiser and possibly heavyweight, even fighting that little UFC dude. I don't know what Roy wants to do right now, all I know is BHop wants no parts of him at the moment.

Ya you're right. To be honest Bernard has never wanted any part of Roy, except before he fought Tito and had no name. Many idiots out here believe Bernard is unbeatable now because he trashed an over-rated, over weight Kelly Pavlik.

Never forget, Roy is the one that suggested to Bernard that he fight these smaller guys with big names (De La Hoya, Trinidad, Wright, Pavlik). Not to take anything a way. I love Bernard, but he's scared of Roy and getting too much credit.

To the knucklehead who thinks Chad could beat all these guys.. its not that he could, its that he should. With his speed and youth, he should be able to take them all out. But he doesn't have the ring experience or savvy to decisively beat a Hopkins, Jones, or maybe even a Johnson.

Dont over hype Dawson. I love the kid, but he hasn't proven anything yet. He should've wasted Tarver, but struggled in the rematch. His chin is suspect and besides Adamek and Taver, who did he convincingly beat?

i say that roy will lose to anyone you mentioned at this time.
i say what you said just replace roy with tarver.
he'll beat johnson again and then take on the winner of hopkins/dawson.
if it's hopkins (anything can happen with this dirty fighter) then we'll finally get tarver vs . hopkins 2 if it's dawson - i will forgive him for not beating tarver for the 3rd time.

only fight that makes sense as a goodbye for hopkins should be a 50/50 split with jones...let them both finish on that.

Roy nor Hopkins will take 50/50. This has been the problem for years.

BHop just offered 60/40 to Roy and Roy countered with the Winner takes 60 - Loser takes 40. BHop feels that he's in the position of power - so he's not going to budge. Especially when there are other good fights for him out there in Dawson or Adamek.

Roy can take the fight with Green and then see what's out there for him. BHop is in a better position than Roy. Roy looked really good against a badly faded Lacy - but I don't think it was enough to change most people's minds about him. The only thing he's holding over BHop is a win - other than that - he has fallen off real bad and his biggest paid day at the end of his career would come against Hopkins - even if he takes the 40% of the split.

Would still love to see them fight - but don't think it's going to ever happen. Look how long this has been going on. They will retire without ever giving us the rematch.

I would love to see Chad fight this version of Roy...I would much rather see that fight instead of a boring uneventful fight with B-hop.

Come on,U cant honestly believe Roy Jones can beat Hopkins or Johnson right now,I think he gets knocked out by both of them
:-( people really been gettin brainwashed by what happen in the Lacy fight

    Hopkins/Dawson could go either way

I believe Roy can beat hopkins because he already has. Hopkins struggles with hand speed. Thats why Roy beat him, Calzaghe beat him, and even Taylor's above average speed was enough.

Roy obviously wasnt right when he fought Glen the first time. Come on! The guy had just gotten knocked out and lost for the time (real loss). He came back too soon and couldn't take a good punch not to mention he was gun shy. Now, he's back, both are in their 40s, and Roy would whoop him.

people really hate a Roy for some reason. They waited 15 years for his downfall and now they wont let the guy up even though he still has skills and the ability to beat any fighter on any given day. Stop hatin!

Yea u right about 1 thing Roy did beat Hopkins,{But Hopkins held his own against him and made him look bad}But Yes Roy clearly beat Bernard

Hopkins really beat Calzaghe and those 2 wins Jermain has over Bernard were both questionable/Controversail

But im not hating Ima huge Roy Jones JR fan,But I always speak the truth and the truth is Roy Jones Jr is way past his prime so therefore he needs to hang them up before he damages his legacy

HE HAS NOTHING TO PROVE :verysad
