I believe Dirrell will outbox Froch "but not without some troublesome moments", and after he gets his rhythm and timing down, will out finesse Froch and if he sits down on his punches maybe even a TKO!!! I know a lot of people are picking Froch because of his iron will, but his skills and chin are suspect!!!!!!!!:yep all comments welcome
I see the fight unfolding like this: Round 1 starts and Froch comes out looking to steam into Dirrell the same way he did Pascal. Dirrell uses the ring to move away from the oncoming, Froch persists with his pressuring style trying to land to Dirrell's body. Dirrell puts in some sharp counters, maybe even a straight left before he moves away back into the centre of the ring. Froch quickly finds out that he is going to have to take a more measured approach with this guy and starts to play the counter punching game with Dirrell as oppose to the all out pressure stye. Dirrell feels more comfortable being in the centre of the ring toe to toe with Froch because he knows that his handspeed is landing gloves on Froch. The fight from round 2 on is like a counter punchers square off, or Froch could choose to keep trying to steam forward but the more Froch steams forward is the more he is getting picked off by sharp accurate stinging counters. By round 4 or round 5 Dirrell has landed some bigger shots whilst Froch has landed some decent bodyshots. Dirrell seems to look more comfortable now and has established a rhythm, whereas Froch starts to put more meat into his punches which leaves him more open and I see Dirrell landing something to stun Froch at some point, the question is does he move in for the kill or do a Jermain Taylor. I say he moves in and gets the fight over with. Dirrell to win by stoppage or UD but because he is in Nottingham an SD
Its going to be a bearpit in Nottingham on Saturday. Dirrell is very quickly going to realise its a boy fighting a man and this won't go past 6 rounds.
A bit contradiction in your post. Froch gets exposed but gives Dirrell some "troublesome" moments? That wouldn't be exposed then, would it? Unless you're one of the growing number of people that think a loss of any kind means you've been exposed? Most boxers have big mouths.
Good observation, i see the fight unfolding similar, J. Taylor has some power, however Hopkins and Winky took the same shot's, like the one that had Froch on ***** street, if Dirrell catches him like that, i believe he has enough versatility in his punch selection, and stamina to finish Froch!!!!
Hey if Froch gets exposed I have no problem saying it. I just think people use the word unfairly. I haven't seen enough of Dirrell to even make a prediction on this fight to be honest. I've only seen highlights, and edited clips can make any fighter look good or bad.
