I am picking Dirrell to win, but like some others have pointed out, that doesn't automatically denote being 'exposed'. Unless Dirrell somehow pulls off a Mayweather-JMM, that is.
That is not out of the question in my opinion, he could pull off a complete 12 round shut out or there is another scenario, What if Froch comes out all guns blazing, tries to mix it up and gets landed by a huge shot and goes down in round 1 the gets back up and gets stopped in round 1, what will all of these Froch Huggers have to say after this scenario. Interesting times ahead.
Yea froch will get exposed in the tournie...i dunno if Dirrell the one to do it but sometime in this tournie froch will get beat like he never has
What happens if it quickly becomes apparent that Dirrell's punch resistance does not match his skillset?
Froch cant be 'exposed'... hes already proven himself for gods sakes lol. Anyways, if Dirrell wins it wont be because Froch was EXPOSED, it will be because hes the better fighter over a very good fighter himself in froch. Damn the word exposed gets overused.... but i like your avatar lol. And Dirrell just might be able to outbox Froch.... with talent, athletasism, stamina and skills... i can see a loss coming towards froch. I just dont know if Dirrell is good enough to do it.
I don't think you can expose Froch, we already know what he's all about. Pascal and Taylor basically beat him until they were tierd and then faded. Carl is a strong, resiliant guy with a great chin and not much else. If he was shutout in a fight I wouldn't be suprised at all, but if someone pushed him to the limit and then knocked him out I would definetly be suprised.
Get Froch's **** out your mouth next time before commenting on my post If it happens then what will you say next, nothing, Thats what I thought...
If a washed up Robin Reid almost knocked him out in the 4th round then there is nothing to be surprised about, Taylor was being Taylor and he did not finish his man off when he had him hurt, shades of Pavlik haunted him so Froch got let off the hook. Only time is going to tell until someone actually finishes the job that Taylor started and Dirrell has more than enough to do it but he might have a 12 round strategy in mind along with a plan b if all else fails which will be to start throwing the home run punches
I don't necessarily think Froch can get exposed, because what you see is essentially what you get. He can get outboxed, but speed alone isn't going to get the job done- ie, Pascal and Taylor. Dirrell's the more unknown quantity because we haven't seen him battle tested yet; I think Andre can win and have him pegged as my upset pick of the first round, but he's going to have to have learned from the mistakes of Jermain and Jean, along with refining his own game, to do it. It's not going to be easy. If Andre makes it look easy, I'd say that's more of a revelation of just how good Dirrell is, not that Froch's been "exposed" as all smoke and mirrors.
