Pretty stupid thread to be honest.

Most of the people that predicted Pac to win were unobjective nuthuggers, whereas most of the posters that attempt to give a fair and unbiased opinion came to the conclusion that Oscar would win.

In most cases it had nothing to do with riding the bandwagon, as the bandwagon was going in the opposite direction. People were completely disregarding all that Oscar had achieved, and discrediting him as a boxer, wishing him to be knocked out.

Who would have predicted that Oscar would throw away his only advantage, and come into the fight far lighter than he needed to be, and had been in a decade.

Its boxing, upsets happen, and this was a big one. People that have drastically changed there minds (whilst the occasional one might be a bandwagon riding tool) have done it for good reason. Pac put on a display that even the most successful analysts wouldn't have predicted, he showed how well he carried the weight, be it against a horrid version of Oscar. There is definitely grounds for people to 'update' their opinions on Pac in a various number of matchups, as he shocked a lot of people and showed how effective he can be at the weight.

 

So because we picked the wrong fighter to win, we should all be ashamed of ourselves?

As you say "the only true believer was PacDbest", who as we know, is brainless moron who posts with a self recognised infatuation with Pacman. I think that alone shows that there was nothing wrong with a person doubting Pac's ability to beat the (expected to be) much larger, experienced man at that weight.

 

Why should we all be ashamed of ourselves because we picked the most likely outcome? This thread is some silly ****, and PacdBest only picked Pacquiao because he lives in his anal canal, as azteK once beautifully spoke of the Floyd Huggers.

 

Pac would still get beat by Hatton and Floyd... beating a weight drained and horrible looking ODLH is not a good gauge. Like Walk With me Said get off the damn bandwagon because it won't last long.

 

THe thing is, two weeks ago, most people came on ESB to admit they were wrong.

i mean, at least 80% of so called boxing experts took Oscar to win that one.
Most people on esb came back here saying they were wrong. Everybody's been impressed by Pacquiao. Nothing wrong with that. Now if someone, based on Pacquiao's performance against Oscar, think he can beat Hatton, its not that irrational.

Maybe, like you said, i am waisting my time posting on useless thread. But you are too in starting thread who's only purpose is to bash on (maybe) new pac fans.
