After dominating Kessler, does Andre Ward make your P4P list?

He will be number 9-13 on my P4P.

No! But if he win the tourny then maybe 7 cause that would mean he beat abraham and kessler. I would rate ward pretty high at that point! Can he do it is another story(I think he can though)

 

If he dominates Kessler then he is a top 3 all time P4P fighter, somewhere ahead of Roberto Duran.

Thoughout history, only prime Calzaghe and prime Roy Jones could ever dominate Kessler.

One fight doesn't make a boxer earn a p4p status. Period. I don't think he will win for a beginning. Even if he does, what about if Kessler has a broken hand? The flu? Is not prepared well? If it's a lucky punch? A W alone means nothing. Froch won against Dirrell. He still dropped from #2 to #3 on many boxing fans SMW rankings.

 

I can't see it happening and even if it did he wouldn't make my p4p with just that one win. You need to prove yourself with more than just one fight to make the p4p.

For me Kessler late stoppage. Even if Ward did win I can't see him dominating the great dane!

 

Based on one nice win?Ridiculous and it will not happen in any event,IMO.

 

Beating Kessler convincingly should earn anyone the number 1 spot, P4P.

 

He should also get the WBA Super Duper Ruby Encrusted Gold Title for his efforts, and become the the best fighter of this generation, and immediately be awarded the Super 6 tournament trophy.
