After ducking Bute, Ward will now duck his mandatory!

I personnaly never used the word "duck" about Ward, but here the chronogical events:
1- About 1 year ago: Ward saying that the winner must face Bute next
2- Just before the Froch fight: Ward saying that Bute hasnt face anyone.
3- After the Froch fight: Same has no.2 and adding that Bute should face a good opponent before to hype the fight and because right now Bute is not worthy.
4- After the Froch fight: Ward's promoter stating that Ward is looking for an easier fight next because the S6 was really hard and all.
5- After the Froch fight: Rumor (or not) about Ward having an injured hand
6- Two weeks ago: Ward looking to make a fight with Martinez
7- This week: Ward stating that he is surprise Bute is fighting Froch because he was negociating very hard a double header and then a face off between him and Bute.

As I said, not saying Ward ducking anybody, but at the very least he is not very reliable. It may be for business reasons or for something else, but I will not take what Ward says for granted from now on. And I'm sure you can't complain if some people are questionning Ward right now.

Wards career has been guided brilliantly by he and his promoters so far. So i will go with his decisions on what fights he should or shouldnt take over some jealous nerds on eastside.

 

true,considering he would have lost anywhere else the fight with Kessler and he lost the fight with Boone and yet the judges gave it to him.he has good promoters,i give you that.

 

I am curious to see how Ward is close to the Dirrell family: Does Ward invited Dirrell brothers at the BBQ? Do they talk on phone one time a week, a month, a half-year, a year? two years? I am a little sceptical about the close degree of their relationship.
I remembered in the Supersix, Ward didn't mention that their friendship was a problem at this moment. I remembered also how it was complicated to find a neutral place in the USA between this two guys...

Maybe, Ward find a reason if he don't want to fight Magee too:« I have irish blood, so we are blood brothers and it's impossible for me to fight !!»

 

Bute didn't sell **** in Nottingham, Froch did. How many Canadians or Romanians do you think are traveling for the fight? Anyways 5,000 tickets is nothing....a dog exhibition can draw that.
