He was never destroyed at LHW.....my point is those 2 wins past his prime and weight were better than anything Floyds ever done....and he still had crunching power at any weight....and he only lost to Barkley who wasnt on his level, but he was a quality MW nonetheless...and Floyd did lose to Castillo and was awarded a gift and he wasnt on his level....:hi::deal

that is your opinion, I don't hold those opponents in close to the esteem you hold them too. hearns hade massive power all the way to LHW but power does make a fighter better to me, makes them more dangerous but not better to me.

its been a while but I could swear hearns was stopped in each division he fought in. am I remembering wrong, I could be mixing up some of his fights and their weights he fought them at.

whats funny is Floyd bashers (you are one of them no matter how much you try to deny it) they compare lil Floyd to huge hearn haggler duran and srl.

I can understand srl and duran but hearns in his first year dwarfs Floyd and that's a Floyd at 38 way above his optimal weight. hearns optimal weight was really MW and SMW, hell even LHW he was fine, a little older and not in the same condition but he was large

Hearns also had superior boxing ability infact the very best of his era of fighters....and was never stopped at LHW, SMW, or SW.....and there is no question his resume is far beyond Mayweathers.....infact far beyond their whole families combined.....

no one, not even him claim the greatest resume. its impossible to compete with fighters resumes from decades past, no matte what.

its funny, you pick the fighters from the backend of his career. he thinks he is the best ever, he thinks he can beat anyone that's within his size. I believe he can compete with any of them and beat them on any given day.

when Floyd was at his peak, I have never seen a fighter with complete skill set he had shown. ones resume does not show the whole story. Floyd had been honest since he came back after the odh contract expired he is all about fighting for the checks. and most of the time the fighters that bring in the most money aren't always the best available opponent

I understand that, I would be all about the money too. its his drug and he's hooked. the more you make the more you feel you need. money runs the world and is truly the root of all evil

hearns was a nasty nasty boxer that is for sure. if he had elite stamina he could had easily been in the discussion as the best fighter ever. his stamina failed him down the stretch..

umm, I must have a huge brain fart, I remember him being out of it many times. I guess I am not remembering correctly.. I had some heart issue that threw blood clots to my brain, exploding causing many major strokes. took me a long time to recover but lost lots of my memory. serious issues with creating short term memories and lost lots of my long term memory.

i'll have to reinvestigate the hearns killer, some reason I have clips of him in my head falling to the mat out of it and crashing almost through the ropes. I don't know, have to check it out.

from what you're saying doesn't sound like he was stopped more than a couple times, that cant be right

The tko to SRL, Hagler, and Barkley.....and he had to retire because of acl at Cruserweight a fight he was brutally beating the guy up....and of course he beat the brakes off of Leonard in the rematch, my favorite fighter for sure and 1 of the very best ever.....and his stamia was his weakness, and some of that was Stewards fault....remember he grew into being a great trainer....

He'll be right up there, no doubt. His biggest omissions would be Casamayor, Tszyu and Margarito but he would have beaten men who have stoppage victories over all 3.

I'd say if he is to retire unbeaten he would be a lock for most people's top ten.

I understand some will vehemently deny that but what I am saying is I think history will place him that highly.

They didnt fight Paul Williams, prime ODH, Trinidad, Mosely, Forrest, Winky Wright, Floyd didnt fight prime Cotto at SL, and yes the WW division was weak after those guys were past it, and the deaths or Williams and Forrest, so i guess it isnt entirely their fault.....

no, pac is past prime. he also fought a lot of fighters past their primes. there were a lot of challenges that he could have fought but he chose money instead of legacy. cant turn back time. he will just be an atg but not top 10. tbe at present only for money made in boxing.
