I never endorsed the Floyd/Marquez fight at that time, I like everyone else, wanted him to fight Mosley instead :good

This is the equivalent of saying Floyd hasn't fought a threat since Mosley. It's inane. Actually you could replace Mosley with Clottey and Pac with Mayweather and your sentence is just as valid.

Who exactly should Pac have fought that he could've and didn't? This is bordering on doublespeak.

he doesn't. Aside from african americans he has no solid fan base. What made oscar special was his crossover appeal. This is why he was mega ppv star. Before oscar floyds best ppv numbers were 375 against judah, a fight in which ti thing should have doubled the numbers, but fmj is not appealing. He piggy banked off of pacs name and build himself and proclaimed himself the ppv king.

You seriously think that if canelo beats cot to next and then pummells martinez he will need may weather??? Mayweather needs canelo or should i say showtime :rofl

Canelo isnt gonna be a cash cow. Sorry Rupert. He is 5'7 and is weighing in at 172 at 154 already. Once he moves up he's ****ed. He doesnt have near the skill nor stamina to maintain any semblance of dominance Floyd has over the last 15 years.

Canelo as a product will maybe last another 2-3 years. Cant speak english, has no American background, no rags to riches story like Pac.

Sorry Nigel he's not the next big thing. Only way he becomes a megastar is if he beats Mayweather.

So *******s, is it ok if Floyd adds a stipulation against Canelo that he has to go down to 150 and cant rehydrate more than 10lbs?

Come on *******s, display your brilliant logic, the same brilliance your hero displayed when he got KTFO by his so called "kryptonite"

Well if he fought him the 4th time, then the reason for fighting him the 3rd (according to you) is irrelevant. That means your theory probably isn't true. If he got schooled the 3rd time as well, why did he fight him the 4th time, after he was given the win? To me, your theory doesn't make sense because his actions prove otherwise. We can come up with different opinions on why he chose to fight him but the only thing that is a FACT, is that he fought him 4 times.

Plus, I'm sure Pac also knew that May had several advantages over Marquez, something he doesn't have. So to challenge Marquez due to Mayweather beating him doesn't make much sense to me. Like I stated on the piece above, he fought him the 4th time, when he didn't have to.

Nope, remember Pac's team was saying even God could get in the ring with Marquez and it wouldn't matter, Pac was gonna kill him

He fought him the 4rth time because the majority of fans thought he lost and it was on a world stage. He got embarrassed and wanted to redeem himself.

DAMN you're quick with bumping threads .

Let's be real here. If we go based on what everyone else has to say, then we'd get nowhere. Everyone has an opinion. Pac's team could say whatever they want, fact of the matter is that Pacquiao has always said that Marquez was difficult for him. His own words, not his team or *******s.
