Gamboa has been inactive for last few years...BUT after a win or 2 under his belt..he's coming for LOMA and destroying him.

I would love to see this fight. Gamboa is such a fun fighter to watch. I hope Gamboa can get some form back so the fight can be worth something. I don't expect the best version of Gamboa being able to do anything to Lomachenko, but it would be such a clean and explosive fight to watch while it lasts.

Gamboa is shot. He can't take a punch anymore. This would be an easy fight for Loma.

This would be a great match up, Loma would get deserved credit IF he could take care of him in similar fashion as the huge Crawford had.

I highly doubt Loma could handle that Gamboa anywhere close to that fashion but, if he were half, (yes half) the talent his followers claim he would for sure.

    Pick em fight for me

Did you just finish watching the Al Seeger fight or something? You know this isn't 2008, right?

    Lomachenko KO's Gamboa.

I rate Gamboa, he is a fun fighter to watch...but there are levels of skill between the two.
Lomachenko would take 2 rounds to figure Gamboa out and then knock him down more than once with angles.

Don't get me wrong, Gamboa is a hell of a fighter but his ability is limited and he wouldn't have the tools to beat someone like Lomachenko.

I would happily take a ban bet, should the fight eventuate. I really hope it does, because both of these fighters can scrap!

That's going to be a good fight, if it ever happens. Gamboa is still a little beast.

He's not shot, it's just he's always had a shaky chin, and fights in a manner where is chin is often exposed to get hit.. LOL.. Very good fighter though, and would be even better if he learned a little defense and kept his damn hands up.

He looked poor against Hylon Williams, and not great against Farenas or Perez, Loma savages him in 6 rounds, like you said, Gamboa's chin is too shaky, Loma is too accurate.

It's shaky, but that dude is pretty accurate himself and has explosive speed and power still. I think that would be an excellent fight.

He gets massacred. And for the record I also said Crawford would massacre and stop him before you joined. This match will be less competitive than that one.:brush:

I don't think Loma's punches are going to hurt Gamboa. I didn't see Walters hurt at all last night. He gave up because he couldn't hit anything. I think Loma would outpoint Gamboa but I would like to see the fight before he takes on old but still a beast Pacquiao.

Gamboa is too good still, to get massacred by anybody imo. And he was beating Crawford for the first 3 or 4 rounds before he chose to fight toe 2 toe with the bigger man. I think he would pose major problems for Loma, but he has to shake off his ring rust first. Loma isn't a fighter you want to fight coming off a pretty lengthy layoff. I'd love to see this fight though.

I've never rated Gamboa, and still don't Loma will handle him just like he handled Walters, he hasn't looked the same since the Crawford match, and IMO he'd lost a step going into it as well. You're right, he needs a few warm up matches beforehand against a decent opponent or two, but he might lose one of them first.
