Gamboa was a 2x FW champion at 126, how could you not rate him? Lol.... But Walters proved yesterday he has no heart, which is something Gamboa has plenty of. Gamboa would pose a stiff challenge as he can match Loma with quick feet. I think he might be a little faster than Loma and probably edges him in power too. I'd favor Loma to beat Gamboa, but just thinking of the prospects of that fight happening has my mouth watering a bit. OK A LOT!!:babeando:

People forget what an elite talent Gamboa was viewed as being just a few years ago, before he became very inactive and decided to quickly move up the weight classes and then go down blazing against one of the best fighters in the sport.

Guy was hot **** back then.

I agree. And I thought Gamboa give Crawford hell at times during their fight. I would like to see a Gamboa Vs Loma. I think the size difference was too great vs Crawford. Gamboa would give a better account vs Loma than Walters did. Gamboa has heart.

People should also remember how Gamboa handled a damn near prime Salido years before Siri mauled Lomo.

Gamboa is another lazy Cuban. Lots of talk but can't back it up in the ring as hes way too inactive. Just no work ethic this clown.

This is true. What is wrong with these Cubans?

Rigondeaux, Lara, Ortiz- we get told they are all 'avoided' but they do absolutely **** all to help their cause.

    Gamboa? 2 fights?

So that should take 3-4 years

Be a good fight at 130. Gamboa was never a true 135 and Crawford was huge on the night. It was a shootout and he lost to the much bigger man.

Loma would be a rightful favourite but Gamboa is a talent and can hang with anyone his size.

Gamboa looked like your average beltholder at 135. He had things about him that were so impressive but overall, he looked whatever. Yet still, he was beating Crawford, rocked Crawford a few times but Crawford is CRAWFORD, beast who would beat Pacquiao, and the size difference between Crawford-Gamboa was a joke. No shame in losing to a P4P star much bigger than you in a sport where even the likes of Wilfredo Gomez don't rise up in weight well.

Gamboa at 130 will look very good. He always stays in shape and trains all year round. This would be a huge fight.

Fun fact: Gamboa outclassed Albert Selimov in the amateurs. One year later, Selimov beat Lomachenko.

    Gamboa is a Animal .

The only and last guy that dominated Crawford until he got cracked .

But yeah that chin of his is still questionable .

Can Gamboa beat Loma ? Its possible

    But very unlikely .
