should he go up to heavyweight and have a tune up fight with danny williams/matt skelton/michael sprott/audly harrison and then go onto fighting one of the weaker belt holders?
Definitely move up to HW, but I would prefer him not to get involved in the domestic HW merry go round
I agree , move up to Heavyweight but don't get bogged down in the British scene . Maybe.......just maybe he could fight Skelton if Morph beats Danny one more time as he carries a ranking of #7 with the WBO and #24(which would be likely to increase if he beat Williams) with the WBC aswell as the commonwealth belt . But he should only do this if it's no strings attached .
Everyone is getting me worried now. Everyone has suddenly jumped on the Haye bandwagon. My pick isn't special anymore. It appears the consensus Nevertheless, Haye should knock Mormeck out and then go to heavyweight. He has been struggling at the weight for ages. Haye is a thug, he should be thrown straight into an eliminator for any of the titles. Haye has a shot at beating every single one of them.
Haye has stated that he will be moving up to HW after Mormeck to launch an assault on the HW division. Haye will not get mixed up into the merry-go-round of the domestic scene. Haye performance against Bonin was solid. He was explosive & even more powerful as a HW, not having to dehydrate drastically to make 200lbs. Obviously, there are sacrifices involved, but when Haye weighed 217lbs for the fight with Bonin, he looked just as ripped as he does when he makes 200lbs. I really don't know how he makes the weight & I do have reservation about what david could be going through in the final week/s to make 200lbs for the weigh-in! I am backing Haye to win, and really hope he does. David is ambitious & people like that are good for boxing. Personally, I think Haye will be better as a HW. Time will tell!
