You must not care for 90% of boxers who ever lived...! Excuses are necessary to sustain myths. When you consider that it is mentally irregular to box in the first place, the man who does often manufactures a "myth of self" in order to do so. Losses and knockouts are re-defined so that the boxer can continue to go to war without the crippling effect of self-doubt ....the truth hurts in real life -in the ring it ends careers.
Another unbeaten MR Allmighty in the making here then:roll: I bet any Goverment prosecution service would love 2 make you a VIP 1st pick for any jury:barf
excuses are common in boxing but dont point me out and say i am the only one who thinks that duran does it more than most fighters.
sustaining myths is a great thing but when it comes to people actually crazing a about a fighter to the point where they think that duran should have or could have beaten hearns that night in the ring is stupid. an acceptance of truth is important to balance how great certain fighters were and duran was gonna get his ass kicked by hearns that night perfectly heathly or not and it wouldnt have hurt his legend or career.
to be fair, i make excuses about tyson and theres nothing you could ever say to me to make me believe he couldnt have beaten any hw ever in 1988 so, long live myths and favorite fighters i guess haha
