I can defend his post-Taylor resume.

Post Trinidad includes Hakkar, Daniels, Eastman, DLH, Allen - these guys are no better than the pre-Trinidad levels.

For a bunch of people that pay to watch men beating the holy hell out of each other, it's amazing you're so touchy. Lampley's not asking for the fight to be made, he's commenting on how sick Hopkins beating the hell out of Jones will be.

If Hopkins is prepared to kick the **** out of a broken down old Jones Jr, why not move onto a paralysed, blind, half-deaf Mclellan? It not too far off.

Thank you. These idiot ****wads just see a name and react. That's one reason fights like this get made in the first place.

    I agree.
I can still take Hopkins seriously against any of the top guys, but Hopkins v Jones is nothing more than an exhibition of two legends, one who can still do it, and one who cant.
    Only about $ this one.

Exactly Karma is a ***** and McClellan suffering right now is exactly what he deserves. Anyone defending that piece of garbage clearly has no morals.

It's hardly unacceptable - in fact it is a fight that needs to be made, should be made, and is interesting. Hopkins should be commended for taking this long-awaited rematch and giving the fans this good fight between two ATGs, instead of some pointless fight against a non-entity like Danny Green or younger fighters he shouldn't be fighting anyway.

Good for Bernard. I can't WAIT to see him rematch his historic arch-rival!

They will not beat the hell out of each other - they were never capable of doing that. Their 1993 fight was an absolute snoozefest and they were both prime then. Now it would be about 100x more boring, running, holding and those kinds of ****.

For all of those defending McClellan's love of watching dog's 'fight', here's a recollection from Stan Johnson:
    http://209.85.229.132/search?q=cach...,6903,583541,00.html&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk

There are other more gruesome & detailed accounts out there, if you really want to read them.
He tied up cats & dogs and muzzled them (the dogs that is, I can't see the point in muzzling cats).
He then set his own dogs on the defenceless creatures.
That's a world apart from two consenting participants fighting.
Now I always place human suffering above animal, but there's no way I could allow another living creature to suffer like that.
If you're okay with what he did & attempt to justify it, you're a dick.
And for what it's worth I have a great deal of sympathy for his family.

Well, I do agree Roy shouldn't be fighting and Hopkins might be vengeful as to offering the fight, but why is Hopkins being tarred and feathered? Why isn't Danny Green being antogonized? Eitherways I hope the point is being taken by Bhops no one wants to see this.

Also yes it's sad what McClellan did with those animals, but none of us can judge what he did when we all help ourselves daily to some KFC or barbecue ribs.

This thread is a reminder to me of how Jones always said he didnt want to end up like G-Man and at this stage he is coming close to having it actually happen.

its funny how people act holier then thou towards mcclellan because of his dog fighting funny thing is no one ever said he killed dogs just that he fought them, so the people talking **** probably killed more dogs then him driving there ****ing car.

if you think the state that hes in was warranted by dog fighting you are more of a barbaric human being then he ever was.

with that being said if you say he deserved it thats cool its your opinion and my opinion is **** you.
