After Kessler's post fight comments, I will NEVER root for him again.

Kessler is pretty humble tbh

 

Yeah Ward dominated him fair and square minus the headbutts. BUT them headbutts were hurrendous, not really suprised by what he said, Ward was dirty as ****.

 

Agree'd , Kessler looked dis couraged and had no complaints about the stoppage , he wanted out no doubt about that at all !!!!!

He's full of **** and i dont like to see that , its been coming a while Kessler has been over protected .

 

It's called freedom of speech and besides kessler had every right to speak on the unfair treatment he got in the US.

I respect Kessler for just saying it like it is.

I don't think Kessler was treated unfairly at all. He was obviously shut out, but the 2 US judges gave him 2 rounds. He never even won an exchange or landed a significant punch. Kessler got fair treatment.

 

Kessler got schooled. Period. You wanna stop Ward from coming in with his head? Try actually punching that head. Kessler never did.

 

Kessler was out boxed and would lose without the headbutts but regardless those butts were deliberate and shameful. Look at the guys cuts ffs!!

Ward doesn't need to employ those tactics his skills are good enough.
I can understand Kesslers bitterness about the butting tactics.

 

I felt like putting a hole through the tv when he said hometown ref.
He's been fighting at home himself in the vast majority of his fights, defending one of the titles.

To call himself the viking warrior, he has a lot of balls doing that and embarrassing not only himself, but an entire nation.

Even though Ingemar Johansson got roughed up a bit by Floyd Patterson you didn't hear him cry about it, nor did you hear Floyd Patterson cry about being smashed to oblivion at the back of the head by Ingemar Johansson even though that was dirty.

Boxing is what it is, a lot of elite calibre fighters have their cagey tricks.. Ward just so happen to be good with his head, so what? Would he have quit against Hopkins because of a few head butts?

 

Kessler said he though Ward was better on the night. He then complained about the headbuts - pretty natural with two broken eyelits from Wards head. He ended up saying that it was good for the tournament and that he was looked forward to not being the favourite anymore - with a big smile btw.

Never judge a boxer for what he says with a loss and adrenalin pumping through his vains

 

He gave Ward credit but complained about the officiating. I see no problem here.

 

Cut him some slack, I think he was a little shellshocked. Lots of us thought Ward would win, very few thought Kessler was going to be absolutely decimated like that. I don't think he was mentally prepared at all to speak objectively about getting crushed like that.

Agreed, chances of me being a fan of him now are 0 to none.
