How the fk did this happen? I thought all those names were warriors...

    Here's the news:

    By Miguel Rivera

A lot of rumors are going around in Mexico regarding the event which Golden Boy Promotions is interested in staging on November 5th in Cancun. Junior middleweight Alfredo Angulo (20-1, 17KOs) would be featured in the headline fight. As reported on Thursday on ***********.com, Vanes Martirosyan turned down an offer to face Angulo and now Golden Boy is searching for an alternative option.

One option being considered is an in-house shootout between Angulo and James Kirkland (29-1, 26KOs). Both fighters are reportedly interested in facing each other.

After Vanes fell out, Erislandy Lara (15-1, 10KOs) made attempts to step in, but Angulo's camp turned him down. Golden Boy would like to place Lara on the card, but Angulo, Kirkland, Austin Trout and Sergei Dzinziruk have all reportedly turned down offers to face him.

Sergei Dzinziruk defends his Light Middleweight belt on the 30, in The Czech Republic, against local hero Lukas Koneckny, who is also the European Champ. Its a rematch. In 2008 Dzinziruk won a disputed MD in Germany,

They should throw Carlos Molina at Lara.

Yeah ^^^ Lara should show who is the better man, because IMO Molina clearly came out ahead but Lara got the gift draw.

Lara is a tough kid, but Molina is definitely on the way UP. He was fed to the top dawgs too early in his career, but now that his skills are refining, I don't think even a gift could spare Lara a huge defeat.

As for the opponent for Angulo, why not K9?

And for Lara, a rematch with Molina would be SWEEEEEEEEETTTTTT.:deal

Lara should rematch Molina, then winner should get the big name fight. SHOULD GET THE BIG NAME FIGHT is the key phrase, but these bitches and so called champs dont like fighting the risky contenders just like to pick and dodge whoever they please.

It seems like whoever fights Paul Williams seems to have a hard time finding opponents especially big name opponents to fight them hell even Williams himself couldnt get Pavlik, Mosley etc to fight him  here is the list:

    Quintana (tried to get Mosley)
Martinez (Cant seem to get Mayweather or Pacquiao)
Lara (Cant get a big fight at the moment but its still early)

I have been saying for a while this division is the division of the futre. It is on the bring of exploting.
Definitely going to take longer if all these kids dont want to face each other though. I think within this year and next we should be treated to FOTY candidate after FOTY candidate around this weight class.

Im surprised Angulo would turn down Lara. We know Lara struggles with pressure as we have seen before and Molina showed he still does. I would actually have this fight a 50-50 as i dont think Lara can hurt Angulo and Angulo can definitely hurt Lara.

Wow, I was really looking forward to this fight getting made? Does not look good on El Perro, I would like to hear what him and his handelers reasons are.

Martinez wanted 50-50 of the gate money in California. Come on now.

I second that, Molina deserves a rematch and he kept himself relevant with a nice dominant win over Cintron.

angulo ducked martinez and now this. figures. ah well. lara is a tough draw for anyone to be honest. looks like kirkland is the only oine man enough to go to mexico to fight angulo(which i dont think he should have to but he is a beast) so we will see how this all turns out.
