After last night, Juan Diaz is still the best lightweight in the world

    I think that after watching Katsidis and Casamayor last night, I wasn't convinced that any of those guys were the top lightweight in the world. Yeah Casamayor has the lineal title but he's aging and at the end of his reign. He's been a multiple champ in different divisions, he accomplished alot, but I'm still convinced that Juan Diaz is the best in the division - despite a loss to Nate Campbell.

    I see Juan Diaz bouncing back off this loss and regain his titles.

    These guys that are getting hyped up aren't on his level ... I think he beats all the top guys and beats them convincingly. He has a great chin and a high work rate.

    Diaz would probably decision Casamayor but he'd lose to Campbell 8 times out of 10

    I don't get this thread. Diaz just got his ass handed to him by Campbell, yet he's the best LW in the world based on what happened between Casa and Katsidis? I think not. He's going to have to beat someone to earn that distinction.

    First things first for Juan, graduate college. He's been there for 6 years now. I think it's about time he finished. After that he's going to have to worry about a guy named Anthony Peterson. A guy who is younger, faster, stronger, and more skilled than is he.
