    Forget Rubio, he could fight Rubio whenever he wants, Calzaghe is going to be arounf for one more year only, that the multi million dollar fight. Fight Calzaghe then win or lose then fight Rubio.

    If Pavlik is gonna keep fighting more bums (e.g., Lockett then Rubio) he should fight them simultaneously because nobody wants to see him waste time fighting the Locketts and Rubios of the world ... who is he trying to emulate ... some Euro beltholder?

    It would be better if he bailed on Lockett as a waste of time and announced Rubio was out of the picture too ... NMB (no 'mo bums) ...

    Abraham is the most sound choice---that is if he can get past loud mouthed pantera again, which I see him doing. IMO

    He should fight Calzaghe first,then step back down to fight Rubio and take on Abraham after that. He doesn't need to fight Rubio, but if he wants and easyish fight after Calzaghe then he can fight Rubio.

    No one makes a sound when the Kesslers of the world overdose on cans for paper titles and yet they criticize Pavlik for taking his mandatory and the fighting Rubio before Calzaghe. Here is a guy who takes the tough fights and he is getting knocked its just ridiculous.

    I'd rather see him in there against Abraham rather than any of those two.

    That's what I'm saying.. If Abraham beats Miranda, then a Abraham vs Pavlik fight should happen and then Pavlik can go for a fight with Calzaghe.. Forget Rubio.. Abraham is the man in the MW division Pavlik needs to fight..

    Rubio is the WBC mandatory! Pavlik's clearly stated goal is to unify the titles at 160. The rest is just specualtion.

    The tenative schedule is;

    Lockett

    Rubio

    Abraham.

    While Abraham fights Miranda in his US debut Kelly will get his mandatories out of the way. If Abraham beats Miranda convincingly, the title unification fight will become a HUGE event. If Abraham loses, or performs poorly, no one will care about Pavlik/Abraham, and the Pavlik/Calzaghe fight will become far more likely than it is now.

    Can't see his handlers letting him leave Germany. Whether he wants to or not.
