Because the talent pool at 135 is immense.

The talent pool at 140 is weak.

Hes fighting the number 1 contender at 140 next, then probably fighting a guy in PAC should he prove himslf at 135. A guy who is bigger in size then Hatton. Why should Hatton fight much bigger guys at welter. He's a little fella give him a break...

Hed try and fight Floyd at 140, to avenge his only ever defeat, given the chance, but Floyd would never do it! Welter is a step to far for Hatton, just as middle weight would be for Floyd, Cotto etc...

    How is it nonsense?

Who is there to fight at 140 for Hatton after Paulie?

    Timothy one win Bradley.
Witter's going back to european level.
Torres would be an entertaining fight, but Torres has achieved nothing
    etc etc

135 has loads of talent and loads of potential fights for Hatton.

    Would be???

That's just your opinion. How sure are you? :think

Those are bull**** fights . . . Ricardo Torres, Bradley and Kotelnik are belt holders at 140 and these are "wars" that need to be fought why fight the smaller guys. Winning against these smaller guys won't help his stature.

Separate the HYPES from the facts.

Lmao. Yea amateurs mean absolutely nothing in terms of established professional careers.

It's basically only headshots... which work into the advantage of Khan since he is a tall, thinner frame. I do believe he would drop from a good body shot.

135 doesnt have a better pool of talent, Im pretty sure you know nothing about the 140 division, there is loads of great talents in there, while they are hyped fighters at 135 that I'm pretty sure Khan could come a champ there although Casamayor would be the one to avoid which is why Warren has probably went quiet since Katsidis got beat., there is no point in Diaz fighting Hatton for one, if he is losing to Campbell he is losing to Hatton.

The harder fights are at 140 even if the names arent as big. Thats is the problem.

    I guarantee he'll beat Malignaggi.

If you want a £100 bet over paypal, then just say the word. :good

Torres, Bradley, Kotelnik are nothing....they're not big fights. Pac, Diaz etc are smaller guys, but they're bigger fights and much more entertaining fights if they happen.

One of Hopkin's biggest win was over the much smaller ODLH, he got loads of credit for it. Hatton will get a similar amount if he KO's Pac.
