If you're the Ring BELT holder THEN . . . REAL boxing fans will expect you to fight real 140 pounders. Yeah after Malignaggi . . . what?

I don't see any justification why he should fight weaker fighters at the lower weight.

I was rooting for PBF to retire . . . because of his chicken acts . . . now Hatton will be included.

    I'm not a hater, not a nuthugger . . . I want real competitve fights . . . not HYPED FIGHTS.

Hatton can whip Pac, JuANd and Katsidis asses all in one night.:yep

Maybe a year down the line Amir Khan's name will be added to this list.

Hatton is the one who mentions being the man at the 140 division at every oppurtunity even more than "Joe Cortez". He got his ass KTFO who wasnt a natural welterweight either.

Juan Diaz wouldnt make a splash at 140 yet, if he got put in there with Alexander, Bradley, Maidana, good chance they would have way too much in terms of strength, same goes with Pac who hasnt even done anything at 135 yet.

If he wants these fights, then go him.. It'll be one hell of a schedule.. I think Hatton beats Malignaggi in a boring hug fight by decision.. Katsidis & Hatton would be a brawl though, but I don't know how Katsidis would fare with all of Hatton's clinching.. Katsidis would get knocked out IMO with his bad defense, but an entertaining fight nonetheless.. Juan Diaz would be a good match as well, but I think Hatton would win via decision.. I would see it as a close fight as Diaz does have some size and some punch.. Pacquiao would definitely be his toughest fight.. I believe Pac will fare good in the lightweight division seeing as how I see he can defeat Diaz, Casamayor, & Campbell.. The Pac/Hatton fight would be 50/50 IMO..

Now I see some people are saying Pacquiao barely got by 130lber JMM.. You should realize that JMM is Pac's toughest challenge to date.. It was a bad styles matchup for Pac, but he still won.. You can't expect for him to dominate every opponent he faces.. I see Pac taking a few fights at 135 before having his fight with Hatton..

Hatton will lose one of these four fights and then we won't get his rematch with Mayweather which nobody wants to see anyways..

Youll be watching glued to the telly and you wouldn't put you house on Hatton winning either. :yep

Katsidis vs Hatton a total mismatch and waste of time.

HBO probably hoping of a Gatti-Ward here.

In 10 years, a win over Pac will mean much more than win over Kotelnik/Bradley/Torres etc, because Pac is an ATG and those guys won't even come close.

What's a bigger win for Hopkins. Eastman or ODLH?
What's a bigger win for Mayweather. Baldomir or Hatton?
What's a bigger win for Hatton. Castillo or Maussa?

Beating elite guys from a lower weight is better than beating average joes from your normal weight.

I think boxing would rather see Hatton - Pac than Hatton - Kotelnik.

    P4P#2 Vs P4P#8
    Brawler Vs Brawler.
Two of the best fanbases in the world coming together.
Two of the biggest names in boxing coming together.
Hatton's size advantage offset by Pac being a southpaw and having a deadly left hand, which are Hatton's two weaknesses.
Pac trying to become a champion at yet another weight, Hatton defending his Ring belt.

    Sounds great to me. :yep

I'd agree its the bigger fight I stated that already somewhere, but 140 holds greater tests in my opinion. But some fighters are getting so big that there doesnt seem to be a chance anyone else making it big until these guys retire.

Katsidis is a dangerous fight for Hatton, and would be a war. Stylistically, Hatton will get tagged by Katsidis, and being a bit chinny could definitely wind up in trouble. He definitely has a punchers chance. I think Hatton would just be too big for Pac and would mosther his power like he did to KT, and against Diaz would just be too busy.
