After Money and Manny then who?

Good fighters out there, but none are really captivating to me.

 

Saul, khan, ward, dirrell..

 

I took gamboa's fan friendly style heavily into consideration when I put him in there with ppv, and secondly, his potential to be the nemesis of broner at some point. that combined with his skills, I feel would make him very interesting. he doesn't have a built in fanbase but he could develop one by shocasing his devastating ability on HBO at a more consistent rate.

JCC Jr? definitely a possibility. the only thing is, I see this guy losing, but he definitely has the bloodline and fanbase.

gamboa? skills wise? yeah, even though he didn't look to be the same guy against vasquez as he did against montiel, tyson marquez and raul martinez. he doesn't seem to carry the weight well, so i'm not sure he can dominate moving up, as a lower weight p4p king must do. If the vasquez fight was a fluke in terms of his performance, the man's a shoe-in, because he'll have the fanbase. he'll have californians, filipinos and mexicans watching him, so he's a possibility.

I stick to my original list because of the above reasons.

 

Ward, are there any doubts specially if he does a number on a weak Chad at 168 pounds? the guy proved himself through the Showtime tourney and is undefeated.

Sky had to nark the PPV's for a while,and looking at the current crop,I wouldn't be surprised if HBO and Showtime have to at least cut back on them.
Big names for hardcore fans but very few with crossover appeal.

 

PPV wise.. Broner.

If Canelo had good English, Golden Boy would have an absolute gold mine on there hands.

 

We have one huge PPV match left available to us that I can see and that's Chavez vs Canelo.

Weight will more than likely be an excuse for that fight not to happen, when the fact is that both promotional companies can make plenty of money off of the large Mexican fan base by having their fighters fight well matched fights 3 times a year.

 

Apparently, Canelo is heir apparent and will more than likely receive the torch from Floyd in about a year and a half.

Bradley with his " victory" over Pac is in a good spot but does not have the fan friendly style(neither did Floyd) and is not a KO puncher so the odds are slim but if he is matched very carefully his stock will continue to rise.

Chavez JR with a not-likely victory over Martinez would jump to the front of the line.

Kahn has been on the verge but the L's on his record have put huge damper on that. A fight vs Bradley would catapult the winner.

Broner has the skills and personality and the name opponents in and around his division so he also has a good chance.

 

what if Floyd decides to not ever go to 154 again since it's not his best weight, or oversize grows into the 160 division?:shock:
