I believe Mosley was 38, the same age Floyd will be when he fights in May.

    Oh, I see.

So, Roach's word is good enough to speak for Pacqiao in your article (which contains ZERO quotes from Pacquiao) when discussing a willingness to fight Margarito, but he's dismissed when he's on record for trying to drain and duck Mosley?

    Kill yourself.

again, if you want to fight pacquiao you don't go to roach.

notice Floyd called pacquiao and not roach.

haymon/schaeffer negotiated with arum, not roach, to make the prelim contract.

notice it was arum, not roach, that went into the mediation for pac.

notice that shane and his manager went to arum, not roach, when they made the deal for their fight.

with regards to pac wanting to fight margarito, roach was just relaying what pac said.

with what roach told shane, that was his opinion and not pac.

    do you see the difference??

the thing was, shane wasn't even the only option or the better option.

they had cotto who beat shane and much more of a draw than shane.

cotto was also promised a pac fight after he re-signed with tr. in keeping the promise and businesswise, cotto was the better option.

Cotto was coming off a brutal beating at the hands of a guy who Mosley destroyed. Mosley was the champ at 147, not Cotto.

Pacquiao-Mosley sold more PPVs even after Mosley lost to Mayweather and drew with Mora than Pacquiao-Cotto did, so tell us again how Cotto was a "better option", you complete ****ing moron. :deal

I said Barerra in 2007. You guys are giving him credit for beating MAB in 2007. You guys are obviously giving him credit for beating a weight drained Morales in 2006 and a weight drained DLH in 2008. And please, Hatton just wasnt the same after Floyd knocked him out in 2007.

Do you give Pac credit for beating a shot mosley in 2011?

    cotto beat shane.

cotto just came back from a redeeming performance against clottey. the clottey that shane ducked. cotto became wbo champ in that fight.

from tr POV, it made sense for them to make the cotto fight rather than the shane fight at that time.

...if you think pac was scared for his health against shane at that time, you take over mvc's spot as the king of all *****s on this site.

Obviously Mosley was past his prime even when Mayweather fought him, mind you Mosley was inactive for 14 Months before the Mayweather bout.

Just let it go, Pacquiao is Fighter of the Decade and is the only fighter that Mayweather seemed to be afraid of.

Just because this Little Filipino, 1 dimensional fighter who got KO'd early in his career and against Marquez still competing at the Elite Level at this stage of his career.

He has accomplished a lot in his Boxing career, Not bad for a 1 dimensional fighter and also in terms of PPV attraction, Pacquiao is number 2 behind Mayweather.

Pacquiao speaks broken english and doesn't even need to trash talk or hype up his fights to gain PPV numbers.

Okay good for you if you are going to discredit Pacquiao but at the end of the day not bad for a fighter like Pacquiao's style to still be even competing at this elite level.

Im Filipino but the double standards has to stop. You criticize Floyd for fighting a "shot" Mosley yet you give Pac credit for fighting an even older version. You also forget the fact that Pac fought a weightdrained Morales in 2006 and a MAB who was a shell of himself in 2007.
