Pac is not even close. I think that JMM is a much better fighter than Pac. Just my opinion.

 

H2H I think Marquez is better but I don't think he could go through Pac's resume. You could make a good case for it though.

2015 Pacquiao doesn't gain Mayweather any extra legacy points. It's an 'event' best forgotten by fans of both fighters. Let them count their money and move on.

 

Not even close to TBE and i still rate Pacman above him for this era as Manny did not duck people or cheat like Floyd just to stay unbeaten. Floyd ducked too many prime and top level competition fighters, I rate Ward, Calzaghe and Lewis above Floyd in the modern era aswell as they faced all the top competition they could.

Now he beat Manny in May it's ''he ducked everybody and fought a load of cans'', his resume looks damn good to me, as does Manny's. I have them about even.

Mayweather fought better versions of Mosley, Hatton, DLH and Cotto, Pacquiao fought a better Marquez. Canelo is a great win, Bradley x2 is a great scalp, Ortiz, Baldomir and Guerrero are acceptable but meh, Rios, Diaz and Algieri are acceptable but meh. Clottey is a good win. Judah is a good win, Maidana is a good win, particularly a rematch since he was tested for once, Manny had the legendary Barrera/Morales/Marquez classics as he couldn't get it done in a single fight but with somebody not immaculate like Floyd we see the flaws and the overcoming of adversity and some damn good wars, Mayweather loses a handful of rounds in most fights, we've seen he can get in the trenches when forced and once again fire off the beautiful Pretty Boy combinations. If Mayweather had another rumble with Cotto it adds a little more to his legacy in terms of a worthy foe again.
