I give it to Ortiz, he showed up and disposed of Jennings, which Wladimir couldn't do. The fact that Wladimir had trouble with Jennings shows he's not much count any more. So in lieu of that, Fury's win over Wlad all the sudden doesn't look like much in itself. Short reign for Fury if he doesn't hide.
Ortiz fought Jennings, not Wladimir. Furys win is overrated because ortiz beat a guy that.....Fury never fought? Dumb thread. Illogical
It's hard to take you seriously when you predicted Jennings to win and said Ortiz didn't have much power lol Another casual dksab
Wasn't your prediction for Wlad/Fury based on that too? "Wlad can't pull the trigger, he doesn't have it in him anymore."?
What a load of tosh. Haye made it hard for Wladimir but he was knocked out by Thompson and knocked down by Monte Barret. Ibragimov made it hard for Wladimir and he was put over and only drew with Ray Austin. Styles make fights.
Ortiz is a really good heavyweight as well you can see that just by looking at him. This looks like it's shaping up to be a very strong era of heavyweight boxing. Klitschko deserves a lot of credit yes but the era he dominated was relatively weak in my opinion.
Jennings was giving Ortiz a good fight too. Ortiz is a very hard puncher and good finisher and managed to get the KO.
lol at Klitturds trying to use Jennings loss to try and say Wlad is shot. Jennings is very average, just your typical overhyped Wlad opponent. Anyone with half a clue could tell you Ortiz was levels above and would easily beat him.
Fury beat the man who made 18 succsful title defenses. Ortix beat a guy who went the distance in a losing effort to the guy who made 18 succesful title defenses. This is the same garbage logic as Deontay "Burger Squad" Wilder claiming he is not the champ somehow.
Fury beats the ten year Ring champion with 24 title fight wins and it doesn't look good because a roid pumped Cuban nobody stops Bryant Jennings in 7, yeah fools.
So having a WBC champion who has yet to defend against a top 15 opponent, Joshua who has yet to beat a fighter above British level, Parker who has yet to fight a live opponent and now Ortiz who is old himself and only has one victory of note equates to an upcoming strong era in heavyweight boxing? I'm assuming these will be the fighters along with Fury you are alluding too?
Yes Fury should just defend in a ****ty southern state like Alabama defending against top 20 heavies only then will he prove his worth lol.
