I don't like the atmosphere for this fight with Floyd Sr on one side, Jeff on the other, Roger and Floyd Jr looking on, Oscar talking too well about Forbes and Forbes telling that he shouldn't be written off... Oscar against Forbes is not a bad technical match but the fight has written tune-up all over it... You're not supposed to lose a tune-up so it would be ridiculous to dig deep about Oscar's guaranteed victory even if it's a 1st round KO... Oscar will never start off against Mayweather like he will against Forbes the day after tomorrow.

Forbes is hungry and sees this as the opportunity of his lifetime. He wins this and he is a star. He's coming to win, don't get that twisted. This will be a nice victory for Oscar and a perfect fight to have before beating Floyd in the rematch :deal

Forbes looked good against D-Hop and against Francisco Bojado so there's no way to say that Forbes doesn't have his small opportunity here but so would almost anybody in these circumstances. Anybody wins against Oscar and gets mainstream recognition ( Tito, Mosley, Hopkins, Mayweather) and even if they come to lose and do well ( Molina, Quartey, Sturm)... I say that Oscar doesn't win anything now that will put him in a better position for the September fight. His is the position of the Olympic Gold and the former 5 division veteran World Champ who lost a SD to Mayweather ( plus having a large fanbase and being a mostly influential business man nowadays)... The nice victory you talk about is the one punch knockout or one of those finishes like against Mayo... I expect a 12 round lopsided decision for Oscar.

Whatever can be said of Oscar - that he fights ego fights, etc...you cannot but admire his hunger for setting himself up against (granted, smaller men) who's biggest fight ever this is, yet again.

Where go you rank Oscar in your top 20 ATG list now, and where will you rank him after he KOs Forbes Decebal?

Screw that...I don't know enough history to have an ATG list or to know where Hoya would fit in.
