Floyd is the most skilled boxer of the past 10 years and he will go down as a highly ranked ATG.

But by failing to take on Pac, a very winnable fight for him, he'll probably finish up about 10 spots lower than had he stepped up to the plate a few years ago and won the victory of the century so far.

LMAO. This is exactly what I was thinking.

pac was more or less a nobody before he moved up to 147. The casual boxing fans didn't know he existed. After he pulled the rug out from DLH and then beat Hatton, Arum and Roach immediately started billing him as "the guy" to beat the undefeated/unbeatable Floyd Mayweather.

They built this campaign based solely on good versus evil. manny, the bible worshiping catholic, who is beating up bigger and better guys versus the trashtalking, loud, arrogant, in-your-face rich black/undefeated villain.

When manny got KTFO his interest in the casuals evaporated. Immediately. Floyd's legacy isn't hurt at all... but it could've been better had he been the one to beat the hype machine "manny pedquiao".
