You will be wrong again on this one as you were probably wrong on Pac against Cotto, Hatton and DLH.

If the former 112 lb champ (and two years ago, 130 lb champ) beats a big strong top ranked welter, who walks around at 170, his stock will NOT fall.

    So what?

People will still give him credit for fighting a huge tough 147 pound fighter.

No one is about to place Pacquiao as the top of the 147 lbsers in history - A win of any variety over a tough Josh Clottey - Will only enhance his reputation in the long term.

A loss won't dent his greatness or take away from what he has achieved either.

dont give me that **** no more, pac is a welter now he destroyed cotto, casual fans dont know where he started and it dont matter as he is so comfortable at welterweight.

Wrong, he wanted a fight in Dallas. It all went downhill once Floyd refused.

What's wrong dude? You just admitted Arum wanted a fight in Dallas and it went downhill once Floyd refused, that's EXACTLY what happened: Arum chose Dallas-Clottey over Mayweather-Vegas for the more guaranteed money (since Top Rank will get ALL of the guaranteed site, TV and promotional fee). Floyd's side refused Dallas on Dec 10. Joshua Clottey pulled out of the January Fox card 10 days later "waiting for an HBO opportunity" which we all know he wouldn't get unless he's the "opponent". In January, Arum refused the 14 day test window and finally pulled out to make Pac-Clottey in 24 hours (yeah right), and there you have Cottey as an "opponent" on HBO in Dallas. Do your math. That's exactly what I stated, that Arum knew in December he'd pull out for the Top Rank only show. He most likely came up with the idea between Dec 10 and 20. Remember: it happened just a few weeks after he pulled that Pavlik-Espino **** when Pavlik-Williams was signed for HBO. This is Bob Arum we are talking about, who's motto is "yesterday I was lying, today I'm telling the truth."

i agree. the pacquiao-clottey fight happened to quick for my liking. we all know how long it takes to make fights, and that was just to quick. they must of settled whilst still negotiating with floyd.

He does win more: 35 of 38 fights. The losses are: 1 DQ, 1 controversial, 1 close fight with injuries.

1 flash KD in all those 38 fights, 248 rounds. Never dominated, never rocked, never hurt, never cut, hardly ever outlanded(only Margarito with 1675 punches thrown outlanded him and that was because he had hand injuries and couldn't throw\land\block without severe pain).

How many times has Pac been cut, rocked, hurt, knocked down? He'll definitely look bad even if he wins.

:| typical floyd apologist getting defensive with the classic line "its art". What you and I see is irrelevant, this is about stock dropping based on how exciting the fight is. The casual fans in Floyd's biggest fights except Hatton found his fights boring and dont expect them to see "art" yet his stock isnt dropping.

BTW, how many times did you watch DLH-PBF, PBF-Baldo?

floydettes so quick to jump and catch floyds balls.

BTW, I love the godfather so wrong again. you guys just dont stop being wrong?

like you said floyd's stock isn't dropping, so he must be doing something right. floyd-mosley will also beat pacqiao-clottey aswell in PPV buys.
