Don't think he'll go the same path as Jones. His style lends himself to more longevity than Jones, and he's already proven, unlike Roy, that he actually can walk away from the sport for long periods of time.

i agree, i mean the only other thing i could see him try is to get a MW title, but that is not needed and may be too big of a weight jump

AT1 you have been real critical over mayweather in the past. You respect him more or less now?

Also how do you see the pac fight going?

the second floyd signed the contract to fight shane i made a topic post saying i respect him win lose or draw... i think pac is cheating... to be honest.. and if floyd fights this juiced pacman he gets ko'ed... post test it will be close but floyd will box his head off ...

I think Floyd should have 3 more fights, first Pacquiao in November then Cotto next May and end of 2011 against Martinez and retire with an unbeaten record of 44-0 and will go down as the greatest off all time.

Not sure what fighting Cotto would achieve.

After that he should fight Paul Williams or Sergio Martinez, then he can retire and I will call him one of the greatest boxers of all times, and the best boxer I´ve ever seen.

Mayweather should step upto 154. Martinez and Paul Williams could be fantastic fights and they are both worthy of fighting him. More likely he would want to fight someone crude or a blown up welter.

Williams would be a fun fight to watch. But Pacman just has to happen.

He should stay active now and if a deal with Pacquiao cant get smashed out any time soon he should go down to JWW and take out Bradley or Alexander until they can see terms, either that or jump up and face Martinez, he has many options.
