Hmmm, how does his record compare to Morales, Barrera, and Marquez'? You've got me curious now.

Morales: Zaragoza, Barrera, Ayala, Pacquiao, victor of 18/23 title fights, fought in five weight classes winning belts in 4.

Barrera: Hamed, Morales x2, Tapia, Ayala, 25/30 in title fights, fought in five weight classes, belts in 3 weight classes

Marquez: Barrera, Pacquiao, 13/19 in title fights, fought in five weight classes, won belts in 4.

Gonzalez: Estrada, Viloria, Cuadras, 16/16 in title fights, 4 weight classes, won belts in 4

The fighter of the decade should go to the fighter with the best resume of the last decade.

Actually, I will say if he destoys Ward then yes he would have a good claim especially as he would only need a few more fights to really be boosted. I think Stevenson would be next on his list.

Clearly you are a troll of epic proportions and I respect the way you play that character.

Joe was a damn good fighter, but there were a handful of individuals more deserving of the fotd award which include mayweather, despite his walking (running) away from the sport and the actual winner, pacquiao. While I will agree that manny deserved the designation due to his activity, a more shot version of mayweather showed who was the best fighter during their era. And no, I won't accept the excuse that mannys shoulder was hurt when no statistical evidence supports such a claim. He may have had a nagging issue, but to that I say so does mayweather who's hands are as damaged as Calvin Johnsons (retired Detroit wider receiver).
