After Pacquiao outclasses Algieri is everyone going to call him a bum as well?

as much as pac fanatics gripe about other peoples opponent choice, they are dead silent about this one


Algieri has good skills, lil to no power, and a trinket to add something to an pretty much meaningless match up.


Dude isn't even ranked in the weight class, and matter of fact 2/3 of his last opponents were unranked at ww. If he wants to fight junior welterweights he should move down to 140.


There are like 6-10 fighters that are better match ups...if not more

Its a gimme fight for Manny and he doesn't get many.

Chris however is way better than Ortiz , Maidana and Guerrero, he just doesn't have their hype or power but would box their ears off.

 

From what I've read here since the fight was announced it's a 60/40 split in favour of Manny but as the fight gets closer more and more guys here are picking Algeri to get a hard fought UD over Manny.

Most pointing to the fact he is an amazing boxer, he can change game plans mid fight, has a chin of steel and has a massive height reach advantage.

 

It's not 60/40. It seems like 80/20, but that "20" is still too high, in my opinion.

As for your second point... based on what? His Masters Degree? The Provodnikov fight? He never had to adapt against Taylor and that is pretty much the only other remotely relevant fight he has had. He didn't adapt against Provodnikov either. He had a rough first round before he got to his game plan, then immediately stuck to it from round 2-3 until the end.
