After Pacquiao's "loss" Floyd still ducks. What's the excuse now?

    Pacquiao hasn't even settled down yet to negotiate and Floyd's already fighting in February. You would think after a bad performance, Floyd would be jumping out of his seat to fight Pacquiao.

    "Pacquiao is next"

    "Pacquiao is not next so stop putting words in my mouth"

    "I want the Martinez Williams winner"

    "We wan't the 'little guy'"

    "We have a date (5/5/12) set and a site (MGM)"

    "I plan to fight in February" What happened to May 5th?

    *****s possible excuses:
    Floyd would beat him anyway
    Pacquiao's marketbility has dropped. (even though he still brings more money than anyone Floyd can face)
    Floyd only fights guys coming off great wins, not controversial wins. (Didn't he fight Judah coming off a loss because that's what everyone wanted to see?)
    Floyd fights whoever and whenever he wants. (That's a true statement)

    He's fighting in Februrary. From the horses mouth. I guess Pacquiao wasn't next after all. It's funny how none of you can answer why is Floyd contradicting himself.

    First off, that's not official. Second, there's no reason he can't fight in February and May. Third, Pacquiao and his people are all talking about a 4th fight with Marquez.

    I was under the impression that he DID want to fight both in Feb and May. If they can't get something going in Feb than they were going to sit back until May? :huh


    Arum wants nothing to do with Mayweather after Roach's candid moment at the post fight presser about counter punchers.

    :lol: You can't say with a st8 face that Floyd would fight in Februrary and then fight 3 months later both on PPV. He hasn't fought three months together in over 10 years. Between his 1 and 2nd fights with Castillo, Castillo fought two other times.

    People also said he would go on vacation after the Ortiz fight. And Castillo fought only once between his two fights with Mayweather. Furthermore, that fight with Ortiz was his shortest outing since 1998. Until Mayweather comes out and says he's not fighting in May, I don't know how you can say he's ducking anyone. And again, if saying he wants to fight in February means he's ducking Pacquiao, then what is Pacquiao and his team doing when they say they want to fight Marquez again in May?
