I like Pulev a lot more than Helenius, don't get me wrong, but I don't see him beating a Klitschko. Maybe Vitali, but not Wlad. He doesn't have the style to do it. Helenius, on the other hand, has a huge reach and doesn't need to get inside on Wladimir to hit him in the chin. If he connects with a big right hand, which he could do from the outside but Pulev couldn't, then he could hurt Wlad, and that's where he gets in trouble. I haven't seen official numbers or anything, but by eyeballing it, I'd guess that Helenius has 4 or 5 inches of reach on Pulev.

I agree that Pulev is much better overall though.

I just wrote that they are good fighters but that is pretty much it right now. I am comparing the division now for what it once was. Skelton, Brewster are good fighters too and they do have a great resume. But it is just wish full thinking because I want the to experience a Ali, Frazier, Tyson, Holyfield etc. in my lifetime. That is it.
The heavyweights was THE division before and now its just not the same in comparison to 20+ years ago. I have never said that it is a crappy division, so all the name calling isn't called for.

My apoligies. i understand what you're saying

i just think there are quite a few real talents and im not a fan of seeing ppl **** on alot of these guys and act like they're chumps.

Not being american i obviously dont have the same nostalgia as yourself or care if they're american.

I hear you. Helenius has to be bigger than 6'6 imo and his arms are freakishly long. that would definitely present a new problem for Volodymyr and would be interesting to see how he managed.

I do think Pulev is big enough to not be controlled by the jab itself like most though. I know Thompson is a southpaw but his size alone meant he was in range already and Pulev would be in the same boat. Klitschko can usually land and still be outside ppl's range but against TT or Pulev if he wants to land he's in range to be countered. The jab alone won't control things. I'd love to see both in a year + either way.

I don't care it they are american. Even though americans have more charisma and flash. Wladimir and Vitali are superb boxers but they need the edge that makes a fighter special. A legend status, you know.

And I don't like all the poster that keep saying they all suck because its popular to say, and everyone has a glass chin because they were knocked out and so on.
