Heart with Pac, head with Floyd...

As much as you'd love to see Pac KO Floyd, this fight is a mismatch. Floyd dominates (or stops) Pacquiao and he'll get little credit from his critics for doing so.

The excuses are built into the match up.

he cant dominate pac like he did mosely but he will be able to hold his ground much in the same way. he has the strength to do so and again, pac is not a physical fighter. now, pac biggest advantage is his punch output, he can get off alot of punches using very odd angels. but what mayweeather does is he limits his oppoents punchrate by excellent counter punching. pac will throw, thats his nature but once he begins to get countered, he punchrate will decrease to a point where it never has been. but even with that, he can still win by outworking mayweather. but your asking alot for pac to overcome mayweather counter abilites and still be able to swarm him. a big fighter like a williams or a martinez has a better chance at that.

Anyone with the compubox stats for the two Pac-Marquez fights?

Was there a drop of punches from Pac, compare to his other fights? Or just the same?

I think if JMM was able to control Pac's aggression, certainly Mayweather can do it.

Still, should be a great fight.

Mayweather will keep pac on the distance with his long reach, which will be a big problem for pacquiao. Floyd will box and jab all the way to the 12th, and a wide UD for Mayweather if he keeps pac on that way.

On the other hand, if pacquiao cancels out floyd's jab, he now can unload his flurries at will which may turn the tide and a TKO at later rounds. One way to cancel floyd's jab out imo is to use pac's great footwork, moving into floyd's uncomfortable angle (pac-odlh fight style), use his left hand lead/hook, and his weird unpredictable punch angles. But pac should be careful of Money's dirty tactics, may's best weapon at infighting: ELBOW/Forearm punching. Floyd will also employ his below-the-belt weaving to dodge pac's left.

As of this moment, i still say Mayweather UD Pacquiao, unless roach/pac comes up a best solution to dismantle floyd...

How can you tell Pac's improved since Marquez? All his opposition has been the same since Marquez. Slow, flat-footed, stand and trade-type... can't slip a punch. Sure his hands seem to have about even power, and he can take a punch, I'll give him that. But he hasn't faced anyone significantly different in style in YEARS!
