After re-watching Hopkins-Calzaghe...

Youre a ****in idiot fanboy. Calzaghe didnt land **** in the fight and I couldnt care less how you feel about it. I know who won, doesnt matter to me what you and other dickblowers think of the subject. Cheerio.

Calzaghe does have a terribly low hitrate and moderate skill level, but he DID scrape that fight by a whisker on his best run of victories (Lacy and Kessler good wins) against a 40something faded legend who was obviously not going to be able to last 12 rounds with a fit guy.

 

How was Calzaghe in his prime??

 

i usually like to score fights for the harder cleaner puncher

though there are times i dont

in this case, Hopkins landed harder and cleaner but did nothing

kinda like Dirrel vs Froch

one guy fought better in parts but lost by not fighting or letting the hands go

Hopkins didnt do anything he hardly threw and held a lot

 

Why on GOD'S earth would you re-watch that abortion of a fight?

 

All this and Calzaghe just baaaaaarely scraped it out against a senior citizen.

Hopkins did land the cleaner harder shots, the problem there lies that through the whole 12 rounds, the number of those clean shots are at or very close to being in single digits.

Calzaghe was the much much busier fighter and deserved to have his hands raised vs Hopkins.

Those clean hard connects by Hopkins were to few and to far between.

 

It's pathetic that you're clearly still butt-hurt and in denial years after the fight, but one day you'll stop lying to yourself :hi:.
