He actually thinks that fighting Broner is similar to Floyd.
Seriously? I don't think he is playing mind games either. He really seems to believe it.

Barring an absolute miracle, this is going to be a wipeout more boring than the Marquez fight... and Marquez is actually good.

Even as a huge Floyd fan, how can you not just say "ya know what, maybe I'll just catch that fight next week for free."

The fight is a farce. If you want better PPV events of real matches(you know, competitive nature), then stop buying these sparring sessions and join the boycott.

    This trash is killing boxing.

If Maidana doesn't come out of the gates throwing huge bombs and making it a dirty fight he doesn't even have a punchers chance.

The best boxer in the world is fighting the guy who lost to the guy who got knocked out by the guy who got beat by Mauricio Herrera. And after that he plans to fight the guy who got knocked out by the guy who got beat by Mauricio Herrera.

Now as a boxing fan, why in the good goddamn would you pay to see that nonsense?

If it's such a bad fight, then why do people feel the need to try to convince other people not to buy the fight?

maidana earned the fight though .. yeah theres that one fight we wanna see but will never get.

and maidana is fighting mayweather cuz theres alot of guys who wont step up to mayweather.

danny garcia has a mayweather fight when ever he wants he just has to call his name out.

keith thurman just needs a big win and needs to call his name out again n he will get it. thurman just hasnt fought any one yet . and after beating up diaz that isnt gunna get him the big ticket fight with mayweather either.

if porter fights kell brook and brings up mayweathers name after the fight then he will be in the mix for may fite

Because its an event, kinda like oscars, for the black community. Mayweather is flashy and shiny and surrounds himself with big names in the showbiz, so even the barbers and the housewives that can't tell Mike Tyson from Mike Jackson (RIP) tune in to see whats up.

There's nothing that Maidana can do to beat floyd.
    Simple as that.

Who should he fight Pac. So then we can say the best fighter in the world is fighting a guy who Got brutally KOed by an old past prime version of a fighter Mayweather schooled.

The scene is pretty desolate these days as far as contenders go:

Pac is a win away (JMM)
Garcia needs a rebound fight (Matthysse II?)
Thurman and Porter each need a big win (each other?).
Lara earns it if he gets past Alvarez.

I'd say Sergio is a great fight for Floyd. Old guy, small, injured, historic middleweight title, etc. Cotto would be even better if he beats Sergio.

Not hating on Floyd for fighting who's available, but it isn't worth hyping up or paying for.
