I have lost all respect for victor Ortiz....dude clearly cheated and he clearly lied

    Joe Cortez did everything correct..

I initially thought that yes... It was a cheap shot by mayweather..but legally

Now, after seeing it and rewinding it multiple times a few things became blarringly obvious

    A) victor head butted and elbowed may multiple times in the fight...that last one was the most blatant but all seemed to be a part of the game plan for him

    B) Joe Cortez warned him about the head butts...so for victor to say it was unintentional is some bull****

    C) after Joe Cortez takes a point from Ortiz for the head butt....he looks him in the face, counsels him by saying "don't be doing that" and then tells victor (to his face "alright let's go"....and then signals both fighters to the center of the ring to fight

    D) people say "Joe Cortez wasn't even looking when may punched him".....well that's because he looks at the time keeper and clearly states "time in"...he says it in a manner that suggest it was a question as if the time should've been started when he originally said let's go.....

Victor just didn't ****ing listen....that's his fault.....may punched him right after Cortez said time in.....

Mayweather is known to be calm and attentive in fights he gave Vic a dap after the head butt so to say he is not a good sport because he listens while in the ring and got an easy ko because Ortiz felt so guilty that he'd rather hug than fight is ridiculous...

Nebody that watches boxing should have nothing but respect for may capitalizing on this mistake...

The funny thing is everyone praised may when he did the same thing to mosley...

It wasn't a cheap shot it was just simply a left hook and straight right on an overly affectionate cheating boxer/quitter....

Cheaters never prosper...one cheater down n one to go

    That's my two cents:hi:

Excellent post. Cortez clearly shouted both fighters to "lets go" meaning "fight". <<<Come on are people that stupid to understand what "lets go" mean in boxing when the ref motion both fighters to the center of the ring? And how many times do you people want mayweather to keep accepting ortiz apologies? Ortiz said sorry 3 damn times i mean enough is enough. All of this is all on ortiz and not on mayweather. People say "leonard, hearns, hagler wouldn't done the same". <<How would u ppl know? Has any fighters purposely headbutt those 3 legends before? Or did any other things illegal before to those 3 legends?

People who hate Floyd are complaining like they always do when the fights ends. They want to see money lose, and they get mad and dsicourage every time that money win. It so stupid thats no worth to talk about this fight. The haters said that Floyd would lose, that he was fighting a younger Lion and that he always cherry pick and that this time will be different. But the reality is other, Floyd play with this cheater who in addition to headbutt was punching behind the head in a very dangerous way showing a very bad sportmanship. But haters are blind, they see what they want to see, and ignore and get mad as hell, every time that money wins. And he wins like he always do, in spectacular fashion. He gave Ortiz a beating and a KO. Ortiz quits period. He wants to be outside the ring after the mismatch start. Why he lower his defense after a headbutt and after it was very clear tha Floyd was mad at him. Why he did not try to defend after the first punch? If some people wants to be blind thats ok, but deep in their hearts, they know that the KO was inminenet and that Ortiz quit, and much deeper the worst nightmare and fear arrives, they feel cold and feels chilling in their bodies, when their minds tells them that Floyd will beat the Pacman soon and easy!!!!

It was always going to be a **** fight anyway. Nobody who knew anything about boxing thought Ortiz was anything more than a c grade fighter. Mayweathers hustled a lot of people.

That sort of thing happens nowadays when you are at the top. But may and PAC bamboozle people. I just prefer may because he is not picking people off a loosing streak. It adds more intrigue for me. I like PAC two but I hate the way arum does his match making.

OAN: I hate that ***** delahoya (talking about that wasn't right) delahoya is the type of mother****er you wouldn't way as a trusted friend

Everything you *****s are trying to say is untrue and here's why....Floyd tried to accept Ortiz apology and then clocked him. Now if Ortiz did that and knocked Floyd out how would you feel? Yes that's what I thought!

The ref said lets go. If Floyd doesn't protect himself then its on his ass.

You really have to be lying to yourself here because I know you wouldn't feel that way if Ortiz was to knock Floyd out like that. If the ref say let's go and Floyd come in with his fighting stance and Knock Ortiz out I would respect more than to try and accept Ortiz apology with the intent of sucker punching him. That's not how great fighter do it man.

The picture you're tryin' so hard to paint here first requires one to envision Floyd Mayweather intentionally jumpin' his fore head into Vic Ortiz's face, then tryin' to hug and kiss Ortiz atleast 3 times, then after the ref would have looked May in the face and said "let's go" while motioning for the fight to resume that May then would come in and try to hug him again? Haha.

No. In the bizzare scenario you want folks to envision, I would have to be like "Well **** it, Mayweather deserved that ****"......had it happened that way.

Agree completely. The OP has the right attitude towards this fight. Mayweather and Cortez did nothing wrong. Ortiz had a mental lapse, made a cardinal mistake, and paid for it. End of story.
