I think this was more of a a cheap shot than Floyd's punch and I have no problem with either one. The only thing is Bernard didn't connect or knock him out

Bernard rushed at a guy who was complaining about something...Floyd hit a guy who he knew damn well wasn't ready. These are different situations, man...

At the end of the day it was bad for boxing. Floyd was on his way to a victory, so it seemed. If he would of out pointed victor or knocked him out the right way he would of deserved all the credit in the world!

Im sure a few people were happy though: :hat

To make matters worse, most haters had to take back what they posted when they saw the replays. Then it became about BS like honor, etc.

PBF is definately super overrated but he still is a master at defensive fighting, that statement makes me somewhat uneasy because his oppenents wether good or bad never seem to bring it 100% and i find myself trying to be a puppet master and thinking in the end he cant be that good there are clear flaws. Ortiz could have seriously hurt him on the ropes if the fight progressed (or maybe he would have got a heart attacks and died the point is dont think ortiz vs pbf but how close he got to pbf) my point is even marquez seemed to be able to get in. Then think what a fighter like cotto could do to mayweather on the ropes and i see a possibility of a good fight because cotto is a sniper and a slugger and all it takes is 1 good punch and we all saw him take one vs mosley ...

regardless he is still a top dog and ortiz is a child, ortiz never had a chance and that eye would have turned to mush....
