True. Because of his showing against GGG, Brook now has a level of prestige and name recognition which is at the point whereby he no longer needs Khan; if anything, it is Khan who now needs Brook.

Moreover, Brook would most likely get paid much, much more for fighting Cotto at 154 (Brook dismantles Cotto) and Canelo at 154 or 155 (Brook soundly outpoints Canelo) than he would for fighting Khan at any weight.

Khan will bang on about fighting Floyd, Pac and McGregor. In the real world he will have turned 30 having not won a world title fight since he was 24. He's probably been in a boxing gym for about 8 weeks since his Algieri fight (May 15) and the rest of time jetsetting around.
Brook should go his own way and forget about the dreamer.

The fights Khan and Brook have both taken recently have harmed this fight now, Khan getting brutalised by Canelo has finished him off in terms of top level. Brook taking on GGG and holding his own for a bit has done him the world of good (whereas before I think many doubted his ability).

Everyone now knows that Brook would absolutely demolish Khan inside 1 round.

to much comman sense in this post for fan boys to see the obvious , the fight as gone if it goes a head there selling you something past its sell by date but boxing fans can be fickle and weak minded
its a nothing fight especially for brook at this point in time
just let it go and move on imo

Khan took the canelo fight believing that the brook fight was always on the table whether he lost or not. Khan didn't think Brook would propel himself into a better position with the possibility of leaving Khan behind.

It won't take long till Amir starts talking about a Brook fight and how the uk fans deserve it etc etc.

He's already gearing up For it... he's a joke, a walking contradiction... nobody does it better... lol
    Khan said...
" I want my next fight to be in Britain. I know it's going to have to be a tune-up, having lost the Canelo fight, and also having had the hand surgery."

Referring to his British rival, Khan said: "Welterweight is the weight for me and there are big fights out there still - including Kell."

"A fight between me and Kell is not only a big fight in England, but it could be big globally."

Never known anyone like it in the game... pmsl

Brook has American interest now which was Khan's ace in the hole previously.
I think it should be a 50/50 split Khan is a multiple weight champion Brook is still Welterweight champion and coming off a good showing against a P4P boxer 2 divisions above.

Before the Canelo fight 147 wasn't his division. He was all about how he feels much stronger at 155lbs.
